2025 GWM Haval H6 in-depth Walkaround
The 2025 GWM Haval H6 is equipped with a robust 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, delivering an impressive 175kW of power and 385Nm of torque. This new iteration boasts a nine-speed DCT automatic transmission, enhancing its performance compared to the current model. Despite the increased power and torque, some critics have noted issues with turbo lag and engine noise.
For the 2025 Haval H6, two engine options are anticipated: a 1.5-liter and the aforementioned 2.0-liter. These engines are expected to produce between 100bhp and 150bhp, with torque ranging from approximately 280Nm to 350Nm. The vehicle is likely to feature a seven-speed DCT transmission system, providing a smooth and efficient driving experience.
In terms of fuel economy, the current Haval H6 hybrid model claims a fuel consumption rate of 5.2L/100km. However, recent real-world testing by Drive reported a slightly higher consumption rate of 6.7L/100km.
The Haval H6 also stands out with its innovative features. It is the world's first ICE-powered SUV capable of upgrading over 40 essential modules via Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) technology. Additionally, it is the first non-premium SUV to include Automated Reversing Assist and the world's first ICE-powered SUV with 5G compatibility, setting new standards in the automotive industry.
