Pretty wild to see grass growing in the straight away!! Can't wait to attend the Ironman next month - Will be my 5th year in a row, such a fun event and great track!
crazy that the up hill double looks scarier then godzilla from this POV. those 2 jumps are some of the coolest in the circuit. would love some 3rd person peppered in these vids too at some point. good stuff Keefer!!!
Something never talked about on the honda is the top end, I'm guessing because it was unusable on the old chassis. I'm curious if the new chassis actually make the whole spectrum of throttle usable now that the frame might be a little less reactive. Something I'm curious to hear about after you've rode this back on the west coast in firm and choppy stuff, anyway. Stoked, thanks for all your insights, brother
450's are just such a vets cheater bikes sometimes as it sounds like it's barely trying. I rode a new yz450f last week (first time riding a 450 in 5 yrs) and I was clearing jumps with next to no corner speed just powering up the face whereas I have to carry so much speed in the corners on my 250 to be even close to clearing them
Frame might flex better, but it looks like it still wants to turn on a dime and for myself that is not a good thing. From what I can see in the video it seem like you don't trust it for that reason, especially on a slick track. Still dreaming of them making a stable bike like they use too. Thinking that's a pipe dream anymore.
@Keeferinctesting how do I get my foot in the door testing I'm a pro lvl racer im very experienced in all departments. Ive noticed theres so many racers that dont even know the basic fundamentals of how an engine works or even suspension. Not saying im the holy grail but im confident. That i could really could improve products and give proper feedback and analytics moving forward if needed hit me with a few questions ill give my best observation with. Little info. 😊
Start by posting some bike content to prove your ability. You don’t have anything on your RU-vid page. I’d suggest building it kinda like it’s your resume.
