You guys have made some great videos. I have watched the 2025 Sportage and the Tucson videos you guys made and it really helped me get educated with the cars. When I did the test drives there was nothing for the dealer to show me, lol. I kinda think the Sportage ex and the Tucson Preferred trend is a better comparison. Now that Hyundai stepped up their interior design its kind of a draw between the two. For me the Tucson edged out the Sportage because it has wireless android auto and it has a power lift gate.
Ugh the windshield thing/replacement bothers me as living here in Alberta we tend to need to replace windshields alot more frequently than the average Canadian due to the use of gravel on the roads in winter, will the heated windshield still work cracked?? Also due to the need to replace more often full glass insurance will double or even triple one's yearly insurance rate. Come to Alberta and count the windshields that aren't cracked, you won't find many!! 😂
Definitely not interested in buying a Kia from him. Her? Wellllllllll. I'd think about it and then go buy a new Ford Ranger, but I'm too tall for one. So it's a Telluride that I would buy, if I can fold myself into it. It looks brawnier than it's Palisade twin under the skin.
The Hyundai tucson is really ugly in comparison to the KIA sportage. The Tucson wheels seems like it's designed by some bloke who had been drinking too much and end up designing something that has been from his childhood fantasy. Can you say again what you understand of the advantage of having both MPI and DI fuel delivery systems in the engine? Not sure you got that right from your description.
Design is certainly subjective, I personally think both cars look very good! As for your MPI and GDI question, utilizing both delivery systems, allows us to reap the benefits of “the best of both worlds. The GDI boosts efficiency and power by injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber, while multi-port injection helps with cold starts and provides a smoother air-fuel mix & together you get the efficiency advantages of GDI without the carbon buildup! :) - G
