I decorate with our holiday cards as we get them, I created a banner in my kitchen with some twine and Christmas themed mini clothes pins. At the end of every year I take them down and hole bunch them and put them on a binder clip and they go in the coffee table next year for people/us to reminisce about. It’s my favorite thing every Christmas to see my family and friends grow up.
I have always loved sending Christmas Cards! So much so, I have created my own cards in the past several years. This is a peaceful creative outlet for myself and enjoy doing this early on (during this month) before the holiday season. Happy to hear that you love this ritual as well!! Oh, and also LOVE the 12 week year! I am too inpatient to wait 52 weeks to calculate my results (and reward myself).

For your Christmas photo, if you've been on a special vacation, use one of those photos in your Christmas card/letter. I don't mail cards anymore due to postage costs, but create a Christmas web page as I'm a website designer. This also allows me to put links to photo pages, especially if we've had a special vacation. I always post my page and email the link to friends and family the day after Thanksgiving. This tradition started with my mom, who would address her cards and time it, so the cards were mailed while the turkey soup was simmering on the stove.

Hey, Amy! Love your channel, and I try to watch all of your videos. They're always concise and info packed, while in lay man's terms thank God lol. But I was looking to see if I had another tab open playing music somehow around the 2:00 mark and had to pause you to figure out it was your background music! Maybe I'm just sensitive to it, but the low grumbling of the bass that seems like it's hitting almost too many times, really makes me itchy inside and I can't focus on what you're saying. I like bg music, but usually in the form of being all high notes and very light. And, of course babe, do as you like bc it is YOUR channel. But, I can't go any further than the 2:17 I'm at on this one, respectfully.❤
