Need to see more bell cow production from Martinez (12:17) at Miami… Triple digit rushing yard games… more targets/catches… more scores and goaline touches… Saw this underachieving from him at OR St too… Great talent and seems to have a high ceiling, but just not delivering those huge games… yet… ⏳ Also… Think you need to get RJ Harvey on this list! By contrast to Martinez, definitely delivering some big stats! Monangai too! Will be interesting to see how these guys do in conference play… 📈
Henderson is my rb1 at this point. The reason his efficiency went down so much was every single week he was dealing with being banged up. Every week there was some news of him being banged up and limited in practice. He didn’t end up missing a ton of games but he was always injured. So I think last season was closer to his floor and his freshman season was closer to his ceiling
I was watching North Carolina a lot scouting Drake Maye of course. I put Hampton in my players to watch notes. I think his game translates to the NFL. Likely a day 2 pick but I’m hoping he lands in a good situation. Etienne I think is being slept on just a little. I know you don’t wanna over do it just being of his last name. He has a good feel for the holes, and I think his athleticism will translate. Jaydon Blue is explosive. He needs to get up to 205+ for Me to get too excited but damn he’s explosive! Behind a stud sophomore who is likely better in Baxter but I’m looking forward to watching some Texas. I believe Isiah Bond stock will be rising all year. Possibly another sub 4.3 guy out of Texas at next years combine.
Love to see Blue get it going through SEC schedule! Volume has been a bit light through two weeks (11 and 9 attempts) due to game script, but getting some nice targets (5 and 7) and turning them into scores.
This is why I’m glad I threw my darts at future upside RBs in this offseason(Benson, Kendre, etc.) this way if they’re solid this season, I don’t have to panic about needing one of the 25 backs and can attack other positions
Help this comment make sense for me? Passed up WRs to draft RBs in a strong WR class, so you can avoid RB and address other positions in a strong RB class? Sounds like you outsmarted yourself but we’ll see lol I just go BPA in a rookie draft.
@@Dude_im_FryingJust didn’t need any receivers in this past draft. Already had Garrett Wilson, DK Metcalf, Davante Adams, among others. And the 2025 receiver class is solid. Went QB and RB in this draft class to not have to worry about it next season
@@Dude_im_FryingThink of it this way: I didn’t see the need to run the risk of getting the 7th/8th or worst receiver in this past class when I didn’t need to spend the pick on them and instead get the 1st or 2nd best RB in the class and probably the 2nd-3rd best QB in the class. Let other people chase the “strength” of the class. I can go into 2025 and take whoever I want
@@silverknight876 I understand the logic, I guess my only push back would be that the WR7 from this class could be the WR3 next season for all we know. If you’re picking in a spot to get the RB at fair market value I completely agree, I walked away with Brooks in one draft at 1.10 and Benson in another at 2.04, so when the values there I agree but I just would say I’m not actively avoiding the WR7 just because he’s the 7th WR off the board to pick a lesser prospect because he the 2nd at his position.
@Dude_im_Frying I get it but in my 1QB league I had the 1.09 where 6 WRs, Brooks, and Bowers came off before I had a pick. I took Caleb Williams there because I liked his value better than Benson or the next tier of WRs (Mitchell, Legette, Coleman, Pearsall, etc.). Sometimes cracking a seal on a new position actually is the best value move. I also moved up to the 2.01 to take Benson.
Nice work Zach, well done!!! As a PSU fan, I would say that Nick Singleton looks to me like an athlete playing the RB position. He doesn't seem to have the vision/instincts of a natural RB. Also, not to make excuses for both PSU RB's, but the passing game was atrocious last year, and OLine brutal. Teams loaded the box with 8/9 defenders and dared PSU to run the ball.

Like to see him just get a little more consistency in rushing volume as season goes on... 30(!!!) attempts first game, but only 11 second game… Which I think was more game script and injury prevention… UNC O-Line is not great either…

He was so bad this past year. Maybe he heard the talk about being better than Corum & eased up a bit. He needs a strong comeback season to get to be a 2nd day NFL pick at this point
Love the list but I don’t think Henderson is in the same tier as the first 3 often injured, hasn’t produced much, older, and now has to compete with Judkins who’s way better
I'm a Ravens fan, and I pray we draft Ashton Jeanty. We haven't drafted a RB high since 2020 when we got JK Dobbins. It'll be 5 years in 2025 and assuming Derrick Henry is only here for 1 season, our RB room becomes the weakest area on this entire team. I can see Jeanty falling because he plays for Boise State and scouts ranking guys from bigger schools ahead of him. UNLESS he has such a monster year this season that scouts are forced to rank him a high 1st/early 2nd round RB. I can still see them putting other guys ahead of him though. He's the best RB I've seen in a while.
I have 4 25 1sts out of a Dynasty startup. If I could get Bijan for 2 mid-late 25 1sts, should I do that? Or should I hold in hopes that they turn into one of these stud RBs?
Yes, trade the mid-late picks for Bijan!!! Do it before the other owner comes to their senses 1- u don’t pass up a young talent like that who’s already shown how good he is in the NFL 2- many of these RBs will stay in school another year, and make more NIL $$ than they’ll get in the pros 3- and you’ll still have 2 other picks to choose more RBs if u so choose This is a no brainer dude
If Mahdi has another good season, he’s more likely to transfer to a bigger school than declare for the NFL draft where he’d be a late round pick at best bc of his small size (5’9 180lbs) & playing at in a bad conference
Because of next years class I am currently trying to get some old RBs that I don’t care if he dies on my roster such as Henery. Let them help this year and then restock next draft class. I have an offer out now that’s based around ETN for Henery plus

Rode them to the championship game 2 years ago but the wheels have fallen off. Is that asking to much? Not enough?
It’s 14 team 1/2 ppr no premium no sf league so darnold isn’t worth much, though after mahomes he has NOTHING at qb. Also mandrews doesn’t get a big boost at all. And his TE room is now very deep since the draft (he drafted 4tes because of auto pick in the 3rd and 4th round)
I don’t disagree with the thought process of putting Jeanty #1. Again we are translating to what he can do for fantasy football. Receptions make a huge difference in scoring. With that being said I personally have Ollie Gordon as my RB1 for the time being. I’m a Vikings fan. The way Ollie moves reminds me of Adrian Peterson! Not as agile. Runs a little high and just happens to have a long gimpy gallop type stride in the open field similar to AP! He has good hands but of course isn’t running routes.
i dont think you can expect anymore than a 1st for Kamara at this point - up to you if you wanna run it back and compete with him - but Kamara will never have more value than he does today if you feel me
Agreed. A 1st for kamara is a smash imo even if it is 3 years out lol. Your rb room is stocked enough that you can take a 3 year wait on return. In 2027 cmc will likely be at the end of life and you can use that pick to replace him. Keep kamara and both him and cmc die at the same time and you don't have the pick to replenish
no Kyle Monangai mention is tough - dude looks better than Pacheco and Gus Edwards did in recent memory at Rutgers - and honestly looks as good if not better than Ray Rice did…gonna keep pushing the agenda til someone talks abt him cuz he’s the real deal
In my 10tm 2QB half PPR start 11, I’m the current Champ, haven’t had the rookie draft yet with the 1.04 1.10, some late 2nds. May be able to trade my 1.10, 25 1st, a couple 25 2nds and a WR2/3 for the 1.02 to get marv. Is it worth pushing my 25 1st in for that or try to get more of the 2025 class?

Honorable mention to Ronnie Brown & Cadillac Williams who were at Auburn at the same time & both picked in the Top5 of the NFL draft, BUT…. the best RB duo in college history- WITHOUT QUESTION- was at Oklahoma State the late 80s when Barry Sanders was actually the backup to Thurman Thomas There was probably some other really good ones, but i can’t imagine that anything topped that
