There is no reason why people can not understand what the prophecies are saying, brother Veith and brother Smith both explained things things very well.
To escape religious persecution, The Waldesians came here where I live and settled. The town is called Valdese and has lots of tourists attractions and paintings upon the buildings to remind people of our history. To know the truth, most people around here does not understand what these things represents any longer.
Sometimes i need to listen several times just so my brain can process what you are teaching - it's mind boggling! I believe but unfortunately many of my friends and family do not.

Two good videos, one called "Rise of The Little Horn" and another called "Ten Kings" by Kenneth Cox are great explanations of the Papal Supremacy Years, 538 thru 1798A.D. Kenneth Cox like Walter are both great historians and teachers of Bible Prophecies. He has numerous videos on Bible prophecy. He has a whole series called "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" that starts at the beginning of Revelation all the way to the end. I think it's somewhere around 27 or more videos! If you watch them you'll understand the book of Revelation. Revelation as Kenneth says... Enlarges and expands the prophecies of Daniel and exposes what will happen in the end times which most true believers will happen soon!

What type of prophecy is this in Daniel chapter 11: symbolic or realistic? In the whole of Daniel chapters 10 and 11, there is not a single symbol, symbolic object, or expression represented. That is, in the introduction of this prophecy in chapter 10, when the angel Gabriel comes to Daniel and reveals himself to him, and in the actual part, in chapter 11, of what he tells him, we do not find a single symbolic expression or word. Everything is presented in clear and real historical language from real life with real objects, names of empires and countries, and real royal titles and descriptions. So, if the entire 11th chapter is presented in real language, then the interpretation must be sought in real terms from history, with real historical events, kings and empires and peoples. Interestingly, even all theological interpreters clearly understand it, but look at what happens: Daniel chapter 11 begins to be interpreted and applied clearly and literally in history, because this is also the direction of interpretation to which the angel Gabriel himself directs us in the introduction of Daniel chapter 10. So interpreters begin to apply Daniel chapter 11 literally in the story, but only up to the middle of the chapter. Some up to verse 30, others up to verse 40. Then, all of a sudden, most Bible students change the way of interpretation and after verse 30, and others after verse 40 of chapter 11 begin to interpret the prophecy entirely symbolically. And so I get many different interpretations and endings of the prophecy of Daniel chapter 11. But do you understand now where the problem of all this is? The problem is that the entire prophecy of Daniel chapter 11 contains no symbols, and therefore the entire chapter of Daniel chapter 11 should be considered and interpreted literally, historically and realistically, not only the first half of the content, but also the second part of chapter 11 should also be considered and interpreted in the same real way as the first part of chapter 11. This is, in fact, the correct method of interpretation by which we will be able to come closest to what God wanted to represent, through the angel Gabriel to the prophet Daniel.
I agree with Uriah Smith, but James White also indicated that the King of the North is the papacy, but James' son Willie explained on two occasions how his father said that "NOT SO MUCH BECAUSE IT WAS WHAT HE REALLY BELIEVED" but because he was nervous that Uriah Smith was talking like Armageddon was almost here and desperately needed donations were diminishing because members were saying it's too late James, too late. So James said it was the papacy to distract from Uriah Smith's urgency about Turkey.

Ellen White called Uriah Smith's presentation on Daniel 11:45 "TRUTH". [“Sunday forenoon Elder Smith spoke upon the ‘Eastern Question’ [Daniel 11:45] . . . the great day of the meeting was over. Many had listened to the TRUTH, and the day of final reckoning will reveal the results of that day’s meeting.” Letter 10a, 1877.] If Ellen White had simply said, “Elder Smith spoke in the morning upon Daniel 11. The subject was of special interest,” then we would know that Daniel 11 is a valid subject for presenting in our public efforts. But when she says, “Elder Smith spoke in the morning upon the Eastern Question. The subject was of special interest,” then we know that the Eastern question is a valid subject for presenting in our public efforts. This means that the subject itself must be in the Bible somewhere; it must be valid to talk about. IF THE KING OF THE NORTH IS THE PAPACY THEN WHERE IS THE EASTERN QUESTION TO BE FOUND IN THE BIBLE? The only reasonable conclusion we can come to is that Smith and many of his fellow pioneers had the correct view on Daniel 11:45.

Which church other than the SDA church keeps the Fourth Commandment? If a person is attending any church that does not teach the keeping of the seventh day Sabbath, how can they possibly be a part of the remnant?
Dear Brother, God has people everywhere. Yet, there is a Church (of Truth), a haven of safety against what's coming. And to this, God is calling His people in the last days, as is written in Revelation: Come out of her (Babylon - churches of confusion) MY people, so that you receive not of her plagues...

Why take daniel 11 literal with its battles of the KON and KOS in the beginning verses of Daniel 11 but not so at the end verses of daniel 11. This isn't consistent. Also, what is the principle for understanding who the KON is? When looking at verses 4-5 and is because of the division of greece. Wouldn't it be the same for the later verses?
