Glad that our variety of content seems to feature a lot in your comment - we were always a bit worried that people might only like one type of style or video, but appears like maybe us doing what we love (variety) is interesting to most. I filmed some coffee shop sweets yesterday, just one clip though, promise :P

Honestly why I watch is because, much like you, it gives me a lot of insight on locations I'll be going to with my partner. Plus it always helps that you two are funny and great together. Personality and happiness definitely has me thirsty for more videos! (Don't over-stress yourselves though!). As for what do I want to see more of, honestly keep going on this track you guys are doing. I've watched every single video so far and I've pointed a lot of my friends and family to your channel among others like Chris the Freelancer and PsychoTraveller for an idea of what life will be like for me coming September! Seriously guys, absolutely love your content. Now that Chris won't be doing much travel vlogs and the such anymore, it's just you guys and Ali that I watch literally on a daily basis (different videos multiple times). Keep up the good work!!

I know this is a few years later, but I came across your channel through your (at the time of writing this) current 2020 NZ road trip series and have grown to love your laid-back, authentic content. I've grown to love and appreciate NZ immensely and am itching to make my way back to the islands. I have found your van life series so accurate to what it's actually like to road trip around the country, I myself completed a two month stretch in the South and North Islands in a converted bus last year! Why do I watch? - escapism. You give me a small travel fix with each vlog. Why your channel specifically? - you come across as relaxed, authentic and honest. The vlogs are interesting, very well made and easy viewing. The drone footage is always a treat. What would I like to see more of? - just keep doing what you are doing. I'm looking forward to seeing your upcoming Oz and NZ footage (especially if you can squeeze in a wine tour!) Less of? - Dane's cap on backwards look ;)

I don't know how I stumbled across your channel, but I do know that I really enjoy watching your videos. Having taken early retirement, I am planning on doing some travelling now. Maybe it was fate then that brought your channel to me ?. I am in Edinburgh, and so it was even more spooky that the first video that I saw of you was the Fife, Irn-Bru one !. I think that I'll try to make a ring-tone out of Stacey's Scottish accent saying Irn-Bru. You two are so relaxed, and are such nice people. Tears ran down my face when I saw the video of your marriage proposal. Your videos are made to a really high quality, and you have the format of the content cracked. Just keep on doing what you do !. Ive been watching vlogs for years but what i do like about you guys is that you guys have a chill, down to earth vibe and i feel like the info you're giving out through these vlogs are honest. I feel like you guys deserve the views. One suggestion for content would be to incorporate a bit about ur work while travelling. For instance im a graphic designer as well and i can relate more if Stacey shows a bit of her work side in the vlogs. Happy vlogging and heres a happy viewer from Maldives :)

Kinda quick, without selling out - yeah haha. Still, it took traveling the world for another year and a bit and producing another 175 vlogs that each take 5-20 hours to film edit and produce. No complaints, but its a fucken graft man. Congrats on 10k coming for you.

I started watching your channel because Stacey is absolutely beautiful. Period. I thought Dane was sort of a tool. But as I watched more, I started to understand your personalities and the dynamic between you. Now it's fun to watch your skills grow and your personalities shine through as you become more and more comfortable on the platform....and watching your numbers blow up has been really cool. You were just at 7k a few months ago. You guys are pretty metal. I'll be leaving the U.S. to travel full time at the end of the year. Hope to see you around the globe somewhere and buy you a beer.

I Just discovered your channel somewhere after New Year, when I was looking for some references for where my next trip should be... I watched around 10 videos within 2 days and instantly liked your channel even more now after I saw the one about your *"NOMADS TRAVEL GUIDE"*... what I like about your channel : 1. the information given within the vlog, the content was quite straight on point 2. the chill vibes -- _you both are not pretentious and look happy all the time_ 3. the footage of the vlogs, especially all of those aerial view 4. the overall look, simple design, modern typography layout -- _those were something that really catch my interest/attention to go on the first click_ i think most of *the contents already good* as they are now, *keep all the great qualities* so it will attract more interests and hopefully *given more new insights/information that rather not as mainstream* from the locals... all the success for you two...

I stumbled across you guys while I was looking at other travel vlogs :) I was trying (and still am) to come up with a short list of possible Asian destinations to visit, with a view to spending 3 months or so in one place each year once we fully retire. We suffer through a cold winter where we live and want to find a warmer place to escape to for those cooler months. Your honest and open style captured me instantly :)

I'm an obstetric anesthesiologist. And when I was labor watching, I was browsing You Tube where I happen to stumble upon your VLOG about your travel experiences in my country Philippines. 1 VLOG to another. ... not knowing that I was watching you guys the whole afternoon. For one thing, it was not boring. The videography and music were superb. Everywhere you go, you made me feel that I was also there! I also enjoy the drone shots. Your narration and conversation with Stacey were natural. The content and insights were relevant and full of depth. Next time you're here in the Philippines, go to the following places: Sagada (where you will experience sea of clouds at Kiltepan peak), Baguio our summer capital, Batanes (the Ireland of the Philippines..it also has Honesty Store...jail population is zero, and it's a photographers' haven) and Siargao (the 8th Surfing Capital of the World). I look forward also for your review on Seoul Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

We know exactly how some YT'ers come across and we really (like reallllly) don't want to be that way because in person we're not. I do digital marketing for an agency, hoping they’ll let me work remotely while I travel and earn my own money as well. I like most your interaction with each other. Second would be the prices of places knowing your budget for a place. Love seeing the prices tagged for airbnb's or food or rentals that kinda stuff. The day in the life video was super cool and I would for sure love to see that in each place that you stay at least a month. Even when you go back home would be cool to see your side of "locals only" or places to go see and eat that are more specific to being from a place. Take care you two keep living the Dream.

Hi ,there is something you have and it is real and honest. I am much older than you guys, I enjoy your videos, getting so much out of them. I am looking at ways of being a nomad at my age, I feel I can do it time will tell. I will be targeting the older group but I not that old that I am out of touch with the younger groups and reality as I am fit in mind and body. Any way going on a bit. i have recently found your channel while researching my own travels and found it very relevant. Not necessarily because I am planning to go to the same places but because you guys have similar mentality and are not showing off on camera like a lot of other "vloggers" do. Also, your videos are very professionally made and you are natural on camera and you discuss subjects that are actually helpful if you plan on going travelling. Hey from Australia! I started watching your videos as research/inspiration for my own trip which my boyfriend and I will be doing at the end of this year! We can totally relate to you guys except that our drink of choice is cider, not beer! I guess I started watching your channel because you were in Chiangmai. My wife and I have been coming here since 2011. We are in our 60’s but find all your videos relatable. You guys keep going to our favorite places. You lived in our neighborhood in CM, and then Penang, Hoian and now Ubud. All places we loved. BTW, your channel is the only vlog my wife will watch. She thinks all the others are pretentious and really annoying. I’m sure a lot of your subs are older, like us. I hope your families are as happy for you as we are. Keep up the good work. I watch you because I really enjoy your vlogging style and am genuinely interested in what you guys are doing on your travels. I stumbled across your channel months ago now and have basically binge watched to catch up and really look forward to your new episodes coming out. I like seeing fellow kiwis out there, especially traveling in SEA where I hope to travel with my family very soon. There's a great quality to your videos, you come across with all the "need to knows" of the places you visit in a genuine, fun and informative way. I've learnt lots of tips from you guys and just really enjoy watching you guys adventure around. I enjoy your laid back attitudes and I like how you put the costs of your day on the screen so we can get an idea of how affordable it is to travel in those areas. 1) Good question. My wife and I started watching you the first go around in Bali. I think it was vlog 4 or so. You are doing what we are planning on doing for our retirement (starting) at the beginning of 2019. We love to travel and like the speed you are traveling. Staying at one place for at least a month. A lot of young vloggers tend to travel quickly (one week or less in one area) and don't get a real feel for the place they're in. We will be looking for the slower pace. The beauty of retirement. We started watching you because you were in an area we are very interested in. I'm always looking for tips on the area. Another thing that I look for is tips on Visa requirements. I need to know the best way to take care of those so it makes our stay long and pleasant. Hope you are covering that topic in your book. Answering questions like how you get your visas, the best way to get a longer stay in a country, how you get in a country without having an exit ticket, etc. Any tips would be very helpful. Now we watch because we like you! You really do stop to enjoy the simple things in life. You're both well spoken, humble and make us laugh. Being able to laugh at yourselves is good. 2) As for what I'd like to see...more of the same. I know traveling isn't always glamorous and has its not so great days. Don't be afraid to show us the other side of travel. Of course, more visa information would be greatly appreciated. Just keep on being you!! That's why we continue to watch. I hope someday our paths will cross. I'll buy the beer!!

Incredible - you've been watching for a LONG time then! A little embarrassing really, those original Bali vlogs were all over the place and we had no idea what we were doing... but boy did we try haha. Thanks for sticking with us and watching us grow into where we are today. Amazing to hear that eventually it was us that maybe won you over, we sort of forget that fact and assume that the country is the 'main actor' so to speak. Reading this comments has been incredibly humbling for us actually. Your second point is really valid, the other side to travel. We often show our mishaps and unfortunate experiences and we always smile through them, but there probably is more that we don't record or share. Not so much in the slow periods, but the moving through a country situations dont always go smoothly!

Your questions answered. 1.Why? IMO....you guys are very relaxed and outgoing, other you-tubers are very forced and they over act portraying their emotions which put a very scripted feel to their work, i get a very warm relaxed chilled vibe from your guys which is more realistic and enjoyable to watch, really don’t change your style-it sets you apart from other channels. Keep up the good work as it gets me away from the mundane which is my life..lol. 2. What do we want to see more of. Honestly just what your doing! Occasionally the struggles (travel problems, security tips etc) might add a little bit more of realism as a posed to perfect all the time but in all just keep it real and relaxed and don’t try to hard...when you do it becomes fake...keep enjoying life and it will make great content. We probably used to a little when we started and it was draining, these days its literally just us sharing our day. Stoked that comes across. 2) That's a good point, and far. I first saw your video when I was searching for Malaysia vlogs in preparation for my upcoming trip. I've watched your Batu Caves vlog and found your video very straight-forward. You two are very simple and down to earth and that's what I appreciate about you. Other vloggers tend to talk too much non-sense stuff and/or showing only the luxury of the travels and not real life sh*t. Since then, I'm a subscriber. Also a plus factor when I saw your vlogs about the Philippines. My heart just melted watching foreign visitors enjoy my home country and showing to the world how great the PH is. However, maybe you could mention from time to time examples of itineraries for specific countries or locations including the time needed to stay in a particular place. I think the majority of people are not full time travellers therefore planing of locations and time is essential. Some awesome feedback there, you're right on that one. We travel slow and viewers often like the chance to see more from a place, but then might not know the best time to spend.... handt considered that! Appreciate this - especially having more Kiwis here! Not many peeps in lil ol NZ know about us. We've spent about 6 months in Chiang Mai split over different periods, no additional costs there, pretty straight forward. But tomorrow we're publishing our latest CM cost of living vid that discusses some costs to consider.

I love watching your videos because you are honest about your reviews. You don't commend ALL food you tasted instead you really give feedback about the experience - like if it has bad taste not its price-y for its taste. I like how you put prices on the food you try and a separate video on the expenses you incurred for a certain trip. You are also very honest about the places you visit - whether its worth the money or if its a tourist trap. I would like you to feature must-try foods in the countries you visit - especially coffee! And feature some non-touristy spots, hipster, unique (food or experience) in these places. :) Also feature some travel itinerary that we can copy if we plan to travel just like you.

Thanks for this Clyde - amazing feedback for us! We probably should feature more food actually, but we like being natural and honest and food is one of those things we know other vloggers do (because theres a market for it) and they act so crazy over the top. We sort of feel like its a fine line to walk and its not as natural for us.. in saying that, food is part of travel and we will always try and show some more!

Why do we watch your channel? We stumbled across you while we were researching Hoi An as a place to live last year. We already had a dream of travelling south east Asia making videos of our adventures as we went and your videos were you already doing what we wanted to do! We kept watching because of the way you mix your personalities in with some incredible footage. Your editing skills are top notch ;) As far as what we want to see more of? Keep doing what you're doing. You have a formula that works really well and engages your audience for the full video which isn't an easy thing to do.

Great Q&A video guys! My husband & I started watching you when we were researching our trips to Thailand & Vietnam. We do short trips to places due to having to work & pay bills but you have really given us the travel bug & can’t wait for your ebook! Love your videos as you do have a mix of activities/food/pricing & you try to live the local life! Can’t find many vloggers that do this. Keep going with what your doing!

Why I found your channel? I looked for videos about Thailand because I am in Chiang Mai every year for Songkran. In your video about the Ta Pae gate I felt home immediately, saw my favourite hotel, even my every-year rental car was there
