for anyone wondering what happened. the reason that the shields went offline is due to the fact that the base ran out of power for a split second. in forts this causes all shields to go down and have to restart. if you watch closely at 42:25 all of his shields went down at the same time.

That win at the end was amazing. An errant shot hitting the ground disconnected a bit of bracing that shut down the defense and allowed a massive hole to appear in the defense.

So unlike regular 20s, able to break a shield after three successive hits- if I'm remembering right~ the more powerful versions loose that capability? That makes no sense.
