I’ve watched a few of this dude’s videos and the 2 major stand outs for me is: 1) The cameraman is awesome. 2) These guys have find 9 outta 10 bullets that bounce off stuff. Eagle eyes under those sunglasses.
the camera man reminds me of my dad's Lebanese friend. looks similar to the cameraman and has his same energy and personality. He is an instant best friend to everyone
It would be nice to see that test again with the aluminum block at the far end of the bench. It looks to me like the rebounding blast of air helped the ballistic gel torso remain upright. I expect if the block was farther back that cushion of air would dissipate and would see the torso tumble over. Then again, the velocity of the shell may be too great for enough kinetic energy to transfer into the torso to make it fall. Yup, definitely need another test shot to find out. 🙂
7.62x39: Mom, Ballistic gel is bullying me again at school... 50. BMG: Okay, I'll tell your father to handle it. 20mm: Okay son. I'll take care of it. 240mm howitzer M1: You forgot me! Meanwhile.... 20mm: I heard you bullied my son. Cmon. Lets fight. Fight me Tsar Bomba (ballistic gels father): You sure about that? It'll hurt.
Like with 50BMG, only a tiny percentage of the energy is dumped in the depth of a body. A 300WinMag hollow point or soft point would likely do more damage to the gel.
Mr Slinky dragon , I promise you it wouldn’t do that at all. I’m not saying you wouldn’t die. You most certainly will get fucked up, but unless the bullet is a hollow point or soft tip, it’s going to pass right through you without dumping very much of its energy in you because of how there’s little resistance in a person, as demonstrated in this video. On the other hand soft expanding bullets will dump all if not most of their energy in you causing much more damage.
Before expansion, 20mm is over 2.5x the diameter of a 7.62mm 300WM bullet. The non-expanded 20mm bullet ends up presenting a cross-sectional area at least as large as the fully expanded 300WM, except all the way through the target, and with minimal loss of velocity. Note that transferring 100% as much energy as a 300WM only slows the 20mm down by about 140fps, so that's why it looks like it's not transferring any energy.
maybe that's why in the movies when the bad guys get hit and fly half back across the room is because they are wearing invisible thick aluminum plates that stops the bullet, but pushes them back, and the good guys gun is really a 20mm.??
Very neat. Would be neater to see it travel through like 10 or 15 ballistic gelitan blocks to see the energy dump damage and expansion, or in other words the temporary wound cavities. Cool videos guys, love watching them and love the humor.
i like the voice of the man behind the camera specially "Cabron" and their laughing part as well. this is different than the other same stuffs available.
Imagine he found soo much bullets after shooting them and never thought about to bring a glas of water with him to cool it down instead of waiting half an hour😂😂😂
WWII, the 20 mm was a cannon on some planes that was used as light anti armor. It was quickly upgraded to 30 mm and the 20mm became more of a fighter plane gun
He : touch it He : that's hot my god He : touch it 6 times Me : writting this comment Him : will never see my comment Me : crying Him : doing his life Me : thinking that its time to stop writting Me : saying bye guys
I use one of these as my EDC. Does anyone know where to find a wrist brace for this gun? Been looking everywhere. Can’t find one. It’s also great for squirrels and rabbits.
We fired those blue rounds at the gunnery range when we would qualify the AH-1 Cobra's, they are practice rounds and not made to penetrate armor. If he wanted to penetrate the aluminum, he can pick another round. Maybe try HEDP or AP
Spongebob and Patrick at the Jellyfish convention: Patrick: Touch! Guard: No touching! Patrick: Touch! Guard: I said no touching! Patrick: Touch! Guard: I SAID NO TOUCHING!!!
That was cool! You Boneheads need to hit that setup from 50 to 100 yards! LOL Let that projectile build up some wattage, Bruh! It would probably have gone all the way through then! Try it again?
Giovanni Joseph Would it not be at Maximum velocity at close range, since the moment it leaves the barrel it no longer has anything propelling it forward....
I worked on AH-1W helos, you know them as cobra light attack helicopters. They carry a 3 barrel fully automatic Canon, on the front, that fires these rounds.
