I think he still does recordings. He tours at MCC churches. I think at that point he was on his way out. Many blogs discussed it, criticizing him. I doubt he could have a career in Gospel. ala Jennifer Knapp.
Sorry, but this channel really only specializes in recordings related to Rich Mullins and the members of A Ragamuffin Band. The Dove Awards videos on this channel were obtained through Ragamuffin collectors. I don't have access to any other Dove Awards videos, nor do I have connections to anyone who might have them. What I would recommend doing, is going on the numerous 80's CCM Facebook Groups and requesting a copy. It is possible that someone in those groups will have it... also, GMA uploads performances from the Doves on their RU-vid channel. It might be worth reaching out to them and requesting uploads from the 1985 show, as they no doubt have that in their archives. Hope you're able to track it down. Peace.

This is what a dove awards should be with good music by Sandi Patty. Over years the GMA dove awards has turn in to awful smut with too many people using awful rock music voices to glorify God and Jesus.
