This lets him hire unlimited couriers, and he’s done that everywhere-every country, every city, every area, with 50% extra couriers. Why? With too many couriers on the road, none can earn enough to live. Couriers end up working from 9 AM to 10 PM. This model gives him complete control over the couriers. He can manipulate them however he wants, with no oversight. They claim couriers have freedom, but in reality, there's no freedom. Thousands of couriers now rely on welfare because the profits go elsewhere. In court, the company argued that switching to an employment model would lead to mass unemployment. This is a huge lie because couriers are already practically unemployed. A survey would reveal how long couriers work and how little they earn. If a courier speaks up, their contract is terminated the next day. This company also introduced a substitution model to exploit people, mostly students, who don’t have work permits. Why? Because they’ll work for the lowest wage, and there’s no way to catch them. The company deliberately delays the verification process by 12 to 24 hours so everyone can manage to verify themselves as legitimate workers. The police and authorities have no clue how to handle or catch these people. So, the conclusion is: customers are paying for their orders, the company gives a little to the couriers, and thousands of couriers are relying on social and unemployment benefits. This is how the cycle continues.
