Big props to LMR. I remember when cruising NLOC and LightningRodder how many people wanted these wheels. Unfortunately it is about 15 years too late. They could have sold thousands of sets.

I'd burn those tires smooth just to be safe. I accidentally ran a car through shop door today. We took interior out and didn't put it back in park. I let frame machine down and there was no stopping it. My buddy said I sure am glad I didn't do it.

Looks nice! Did you do a test fit to see if the 10” wheel would fit on the front without rubbing? I was thinking about getting 4 of the 20x10 wheels and running a square setup but didn’t know if anyone else had tried to fit them on the front

Man you make me miss my lightning. I had a silver 2001. Ported s/c bassani headers and exhaust. Truck was special sold it for 8k in 2013. What a stupid decision. Wish i knew where it was now. Awesome videos my guys ✊🏼🇺🇸💯

Check the front/driver's side control arm for a steel nut/bolt carving the aluminum rim when you make a hard turn. Ive seen em installed backwards and it cause this.

Just did 22x13 and 22x9 Forgi’s on my L. Narrowed the rear end roughly 10” to get then to fit. Wish LMR would make the lightning wheels in 22”

Good video. I have a 2001 Lightning here in the UK and was wondering where to get LMR codes as I use them for pretty much everything. Just imported a full set of lights this month. Went for the old style rears as cant stand the Lexus style ones mine came with.

I had the similar issue with some cobra wheels on my fox and it was from the a-arm. I corrected it with steering rack spacers. Love the new wheels

looks great!!! I have a set of Boss 335's I put on occasionally. I run 295/45r20 on front and back and I've noticed under shall we say "spirited" driving with bell tech lowering spindles i have ripped the inner fender liner off a few times lol the 20's are just too tall for me so I usually keep the stock wheels on. I've had more compliments with the stock wheels than with the chrome 5 spoke look (which i prefer) so go figure

LMR is LMOverFinPriced. I need a new lower grill for my L and it's like $400 from LMR. And yes I've ordered quite a few things from LMR over the years. I'll order an aftermarket grill as opposed to an OEM replica for that kind of $. I prefer 03/04 wheels to 01/02 wheels in any diameter. I prefer 99/00 wheels to 01/02 wheels as well if factory, but not in the 20" replicas. I think the 01/02 wheels are good looking wheels, but so were the other 2 designs.
