@@512kjt obviously you’ve never been hit by a horse fly while riding on a motorcycle or in the back of a truck. But I’m not going to argue with you over it.
@@bcroft68bc Haha, obviously you don’t know me even tho you think you do. I’ve contacted mid-Summer Texas grasshoppers the size of a 12 ga shotgun shell at 140mph on my R6 and I’m here to live and tell about it. No fucking way your horseflies are bigger than that and even a bigger stretch that you’ve gone that fast AT ALL, much less tagged a horsefly at speed.
For that other boat to have caught up so quick behind you he must have been going faster in a no wake zone or just didn't slow down as much as you did but when you kicked into it you left him eating you waves !!!
I'm a commercial fisherman out of Louisiana and assholes like y'all try to run over us you just lower the damn thing down and put it in the shed and have respect for people trying to make a living
Man anything over bout 70 or maybe lower just goes along with safety as does the kill switch an life jacket but I live in east Texas on lake sam Rayburn an I can tell you certain times of the year a June bug at 80 hell at 40 hurts much less at 80 or other bugs in the eye too rain etc just easier to run an drive with helmet on just takes seconds to put it take it off or use a paint ball mask or snowmobile helmet helps with anti fog
My dad has a 20ft bullet that runs about 95mph. We always wear helmets while running because do you know how much it hurts to have a mosquito to hit your face at those speeds? 🤣🤣🤣
😲😲😲😲😲😲 Wow. I bet the other boats were laughing at the masks until it spooled up. Id like to know how much fuel it used in just this video. My boat will do 70. And if u run it there it drinks the gas..
Look at the wake, I prefer people to do what these guys are doing rather then go 10-20 with the bow up making a giant wake for my tiny 200 max pound kayak. The worst waves I've had kayak fishing this year so far is from two jon boats flying by me going 20-40 passing each other. Almost flipped
My best friend has the same boat and the set up is pretty close..... Helmets and life jackets are mandatory for us...... helmet is to keep from being knocked out from the bugs and life jackets are for easy recovery of our body's when the blowout happens around 100mph..... hasn't happened yet.....never heard of a speeding ticket on the water
best day of my Stratos 201 pro 1.bought 2.amazing fishing day with best friend 3.RUNNING 90+ TILL I CANT TAKE IT 4.SELLING IT DUE TO COVER AND WEAR AND TEAR now i have a mako pro skiff added t-top and seat radar raymarine Axiom pro with 4 axis compass quantum radar 2 vhf radios MOB system and a riptide with spotlock best of all great offshore boat for calm seas about 2-3 ft or 5 ft seas pushing and amazing in the bay flys over sand bars
Highly doubt a 201 stratos will run 90+mph that kind of heavy haul on a 20 footer would never turn that kind of mph even with a 300 behind it a bullet is fast but had to be propped right with a jackplate position perfect to run in the 90s! Not a stratos!!!
You're dreaming if you think a Stratos could come anywhere close to those speeds. One of the slowest and rough riding boat I've ever ridden in. No wonder they're no longer made.
We have a few slow zones where we can only go 9kms. That's not one of them, but the campers put up signs that say 9k, We have a tournament there every year, so instead of making problems we just respect the campers wishes.
In big tournaments, there is a big payout. If you know the fish is there, that could be a 2000$ fish. You want to be the first one to get it, or potentially the last?
