I'm glad you guys took my Advice and did a video putting the light in between the chrome and wood part like I said on the Amazon review it gives it a much cleaner look 👍🏼

@@icephoenix3565 if you wedge the pry tool in between and start at one corner the rest should just go right it I’ve have mine on for the past 9 months and haven’t had any issues you will love it
Just did a dry fit. Just an observation. It seems that one inch of led added to the each dash strip would allow the led to the connector to be better hidden and flush against the base of the monitor column. It would not be so obvious from the passenger side in daylight, and the led strip would look more seamless at night. Also a 1 inch extension on each side of the black portion of the console strip will allow for more flexibility for a cleaner fitment in the storage area.
it's not just an observation, it's an honest and very justified complaint. After all, I do miss ambient lighting in my Tesla, but I don't want to ruin an expensive car by having wires sticking out in plain sight. You point out it CAN be done, so they SHOULD have done it before putting it on the market. I'd gladly pay $100 more if it looked like it was factory installed.
the light strip we use is harder than other sellers (which helps with installation), in order to facilitate the insertion of the light strip, the area of the sleeve is longer, because it can be inconvenient to install if it is too short or even damage the light strip. Of course, thank you for your suggestion, we will improve it.
Hello, just installed the lights. They’re amazing. They look OEM and can’t even tell they’re there during the daytime. If I ordered a second set, can I connect the wires to slot Led 2 in the Sub Controller to power up? I’d like to put light under the seats
Just installed this. Wayyy better than the Nestour one. Suggestion to add back seat footwell lights and make the footwell lights brighter in general for the next one.
@VIHIMAI there are extra LED ports on the controllers the kit comes with? Can I get more lights connected to the controllers on the additional LED ports? Where can I get another LED cable with ports?
I only added the dash led and the centre console and installed the Led lamp app. The app isn’t connecting to the light so they are always flashing. How do I connect the app with the lights?
Just did the install today, had previously installed the lights from Nestour but they were really bad so I took them off after 1 day. MUCH happier with your design, I also want to know if we can purchase additional light strips to add the the sub or main controller if possible. I would like lights for the back of the seats.
my passenger side light for dashboard is dimmer than driver side. i changed to manual display brightness and have brightness at 52% but passenger side is still dim. please help.
hi just got my model 3 rwd, but the footwell light are not working! I guess cost cutting from Tesla, is ridiculous, would your footwell light work even if there is no power from the car to the lights? I really don't understand why Tesla does this; the car is equipped with the rectangular lights they just don't turn on! I love Tesla and I'm stockholder so I understand cost cutting but Tesla must be careful, this "luxuries" are even available in the cheapest ICE car available! I paid $50K for this car!
@@ismaelcarrillo3956 you don't get the point no fricking footwell lights in a car that I paid $43,990 plus $2,000 red paint plus $1,500 19" sport wheels plus $1,000 white interior plus $1350 destination charge plus tax, plus plates and fees for this and fees for that I end up financing MORE THAN $50,000 DO YOU GET IT DUDE???
the footwell lights will not work if there is no power from the car to light, since all the signal is from the power of footwell light. So the light will turn on/off synced with headlight automatically. If you want footwell light to turn on, there’s a way but the light kit won’t turn on with headlight automatically, just use the main controller in the package to connect the cigarette lighter, however it needs to turn on/off manually.
Please check the controllers are installed wrong. The main should be installed in the footwell lights, the sub should be installed in the cigarette lights
search “ tesla interior lights” on amazon, but please check your model before purchasing, this is only for model 3/y LR and Performance version 2021 2022 2023
