I just wish they'd take their elbows off the table when they eat. That was drummed into us at a very early age - proper table etiquette and don't talk with your mouth full! lol
The writers on this show are at the top of their game. They keep the stories fresh and believable at the same time. Somehow they tie up all the loose ends of each sub-plot before the episode ends.
@Regina Filangi how big was your family growing up? Large families encouraging individualism Do have disagreements like that. Italian maybe a bit more vocal. But done in love. I like the Sunday dinners. It's tough to pull that off now but how many of us grew up.
One of the things I like the most about Blue Bloods is that they don't go overboard on the personal side of the characters. However you do hope that eventually Tom selleck's character and Danny's character will find dates.
Blue Bloods is what I look forward to every Friday 💙 The family dinner is what I love the most! Every episode has a message. All the actors are simply amazing ♥️♥️🌹
If you get ION TV, they have been doing a Wednesday marathon of Blue Bloods all day long. It's off now but it is supposed to return every Wednesday starting sometime in June. Fingers crossed!! I think it starts at noon and goes until 2am.
I'm obsessed with blue bloods, love that is based in real life social problems, it represents what the true meaning of family is and I LOVE IT 😍 great actors
They mentioned it last week but didn't Frances have a lady friend for awhile? The family didn't know remember? I seem to remember him meeting her at a hotel in an episode.
Ya know it really depends. Lost a Dad and 9 months later my wife died from a 10-year battle with leukemia. So yes it ought to take awhile. As it would in real life.
@Regina Filangi not me. Besides with children going to college, Danny just seems to be getting them launched on their own. As for the Commissioner, who knows. His Dad is on his own for awhile.
@@texhaines9957 so sorry to hear about your father and your wife. I know the pain you are suffering with their losses as I lost my husband 3 years ago. I figured eventually someone has to get involved with someone even though it is all scripted. Again my prayers are with you fellow sufferer.
This is my favorite show on TV currently. It’s sad that so many other shows on TV feel the need to cut out religion and add despicable morals to fuel their viewership. The actors and writers of this show are top notch and it will remain a staple in my rotation for many years after they stop production. Yep, it’s a great show!
@@madirishgirl76 Obviously you don’t watch the show or you would know that they are Catholic. They say grace at the dinner table with their family every episode, and Frank often speaks with his friend who is a priest in the show. You are yet another example of what’s going on in this country. Religion is why you are here in the first place . You should study the history of this great nation more closely and then you will understand.
I agree, as he brings out the best in a police officer, as he has empathy for others. It does not hurt that he is handsome, to accompany that gentle soul.
I was disappointed they didn't do a whole episode on the wedding because a lot of people were waiting for it. Oh well.... it's still a great show and one of the best on TV. I wish all continued success in it lasting for several more years IF they want it to. :-)
The show is about a cop family so you need both sides. However, having at least one show that mostly focuses on the family, maybe on a family vacation, could be interesting. Maybe with an unexpected case thrown in for spice.
I have watched Blue Bloods from the begin . I Love everything about this show . I especially enjoy the sibling , spouse , and family picking on , embarrassing, arguing with each other scenes . It brings that extra real family feel to the show , like what happens in real life . An like everyone else the family dinners are Great . Thank you to everyone who works on Blue Bloods no matter what you do it's one of my ALL Time favorite shows .
My wife and I are HUGE fans of the show - Friday night is "BLUE BLOODS" night at our house. However, they need to bring JOE HILL back into the show and the family.
I think Blue Bloods is a excellent show very good plots .......Love the characters Love this show bought all the dvd series.........so I will always have it love the new guy that plays Joes son.....can't wait to see what happens with him in the show ..........always liked Tom Selleck he is the man ......and Bridget Moynahan is so good looking ..........Donnie is my favorite .........he is a bad ass hahahahaha
I love Blue Bloods and I feel it is way past time for Tom Sellick's character to be in a romantic relationship . Frank isn't getting any younger and he needs to have his own story line with someone he meets, courts and brings to the Sunday dinner. She is vibrant, sexy, able to give as good as she gets...a woman who will
I would not have cared if I didn't see the reception or honeymoon but the wedding come on that was a big work up for nothing. You watched her walk up the aisle with Tom and then the show ended. What a disgrace.
Blue bloods is actually not Len Carious first tv show. He appeared on multiple episodes of Murder she wrote as Michael Hagarty. He may not have been a regular character but it was recurring enough to say he was part of the cast.
Anyone else see what looks like a reversed image at 1:07 ? Danny does the Starsky and Hutch slide across the hood of his police Charger. When he gets in the car through the front right door, he's behind the steering wheel. So unless that American car is fitted with special right hand drive, that's a flipped image.
I would have liked to see a whole show about Jamie & Eddies wedding! Really feel the fans got cheated! I was also upset that they let Jackie go, I liked her the most of all of his partners.
I love this shows on tv I so look forward to the renewal of their contracts every year unfortunately I know that at some point. Is going to come to an I guess then I'll watch reruns I would like to see some more storylines around Joe Reagan's son I believe he fit in well with the cast and the story lines were really good 👍👍
Good information, most I had no idea about. Thanks for posting this but why was most of the video in a mirror (backwards) image? Inquiring minds wanna know.
i think, as viewers the show would benefit more with more characters personal lives then just cops like any other Cop show. Make it different then Law and Order etc.
I think writing out Linda the way they did was a mistake. Having Jamie and Edie together was good,,as having a handsome guy like Jamie single did not make sense. Once Syd disappeared after the first season, there was a gap, and there is good chemistry between them. I also like Curritola, so was sorry she was replaced, though Baez is very good, also.
Omg I love this show. I watch all series while on vacation in Flarida, now I'm home I have to watch over again I just cant get enough with no apology. Boy Danny can eat lol but please bring back Amy.😔😔 but I can't wait for the next season 😊😊. I predict Danny with become the next COMMISSIONER
I'm curious to see if they give Danny a new girlfriend or wife. Does he finally take a high paying private job. Does Eddy become a detective, Jamie a Lieutenant with his law degree. "Joe Jr" is another whole plot line. The way things went in 2020, final show, the whole family retires and moves to Florida. Blue Marlin Bloods. 8-)
Rather than his Magnum PI experience, Sellick more likely got his firearms' familiarization when he served in the California Army National Guard. That shows this video producer is just doing a lot of speculating.
Like the show but one thing really bugs me. In real life, there is NO WAY they would all be discussing cases (investigations) in front of the children at Sunday dinner! NO WAY. It only gets worse when the children provide comments about the cases as well. This is an unlawful disclosure of information that could jeopardize investigations. And one other thing I find hard to swallow, the arrogance of Donny. Too much! He is annoying...
With special occasions like a wedding WE WANT DETAILS!! According to the previews it was going to be a major event only to have very little time dedicated to it was beyond disappointing!
Good balance currently. That balance sbhould be retained - letting various chaacters take a greater portion per a story line for an episode or two - buit no more...
Nice, but question....if you were making a professional production of this, why so many edits where the uniforms, badges, etc. are reversed imaged? Cops wear their badges, ribbons on the left chest....not the right.
We now know they sell the photographs to the media. They could have done it in private. IMO and yes we are all entitled to an opinion, so don’t mix hate and opinion. What was their ultimate goal, because you can be sure they don’t do nothing for nothing.
The dinner scenes are not the same sense Linda left the show. The table and food always looked so great but not anymore. The dinner sc6needs a change for the better.
Give me a break on "they have to eat the same food over and over". You never see anybody ever eat ANYTHING at this dinner table other than Danny or Jamie putting a very small carrot in their mouths. They cut food up but they NEVER eat it. It's so amateurishly done that it amazes me why they continue to have this scene in EVERY episode. And, aside from the fact that you never see anyone actually eat anything, who is it - which member of the family - makes all this food for the family dinner. Just watch this scene in any current or future episode and watch who actually eats anything.
Prop whiskey/beer/wine is made from grape juice and iced tea. No actors are allowed to actually drink while on the set. Hollywood wants their actors sober while filming.
At 1:12 the narrator says the actors go to the range to practice shooting their revolvers....cops generally never use revolvers anymore. He also says that Seleck doesn’t go, maybe bc he is on the Board of Directors for the NRA.
