21 - DTP with QuarkXPress: Text boxes in depth 

There is a point at 6:50 where you enlarged a text box by grabbing on of it's handles. How did you do that? With InDesign you would press "E" to switch to the scale tool but I don't know how to do it in Quark. When I grab the text handle it just enlarges the text box.

Hi I don't know where to ask but I hope that You can help me with my issue. I'm trying to make a custom footnote separator. The problem is that when I try to apply it to the text my new separator is gone, there is no separator at all. I've tried some modifications in default styles and when i just change one single thing even default separator dissapears. Do You have any idea how to edit and apply own separator so it would be visible?

How do I insert text without a box around it (when I want to) - as is the case with CorelDraw?
