I used to wear shorts occasionally when flying ….. and then my bff got a bacterial skin infection on the back of one of her legs. It took weeks to heal and months for the scars to diminish. She had to wear bandages and try to keep it from spreading further to herself or other people! She couldn’t go swimming, couldn’t sit bare legged any place another person would sit. (It was a miserable way to spend the summer) My Dr’s wife was a retired flight attendant and she said airplane seats are often filthy because they are rarely deep cleaned. No shorts on public transit (or movie theaters)!

She said it’s “not insanely expensive.” I would agree with this statement as it’s not crazy expensive like LV luggage. But it is expensive. I’m only able to buy the carry-on BEIS myself and not the larger ones, but I love my little Beis carry-on.

As a former flight attendant and frequent traveler by air I wouldn't recommend shorts as airplanes and some airports are quite cold. Yes and bring your own blanket! Perhaps jeans, most are stretchy these days, or slacks for a comfortable yet not too casual look. The backpack is smart with the reverse main pocket. Yes and the lint roller too! You can always bring a blanket, but agree that joggers I recommend drawstring jogger pants Cherokee-infinity line. $39 I got plenty of compliments. They are super comfortable for jogging, have multiple pockets, and are durable for anything since their technically scrubs. They are super cute!

Also try Aeries leggings they are a little expensive but they are super soft and they don't dig in to the skin because it doesn't have that thick band.

Sorry the suitcase is not the best. As an airline employee 30 years + the best luggage with wheels are the ones with wheel wells where the wheels sit inside the suitcase not protrude on the outside. These wheels get caught in all equipment on the suitcases journey from check in to the aircraft. These wheels tear off.

I travel A LOT and I use a number of these items. The hangars are amazing, i put them in a zip bag with some True earth laundry sheets and travel clothesline (Suction cups) . Many times you need to do laundry in the sink or tub and they will dry much faster hanging in these hangars, socks and undies clipped to the rope.

I have a few Beis products that I use regularly (the convertible weekender, the backpack, and the sling), and as much as I love a matchy-matchy set, I will be hanging on to my Tumi luggage. The wheels roll so smoothly, and you just can't beat the quality.

Love these recommendations! That small jewelry box is perfect for me. I usually just put my jewelry in a tiny bag or a ziplock bag or something, but this would be great to hold my jewelry as well as my hair clips, bracelet, hair ties, etc and it is so pretty too.

I am going on an extended business trip and was looking for a larger suitcase than the Tumi ones I have but didn't want to spend as much as I previously did, therefore I will try the Beis one. I have owned my Tumi's for a very long time and they are excellent pieces so interested to see how this brand fares. I also ordered the charger and the tech carrying case.

You know what my problem is, I never know what to do with all my travel items when I'm not traveling. I get hypertension thinking about the storage of it all so it's just convenient to not buy any travel must-have. Wonderful as always Shea! I have the makeup and toiletry bags from your previous recommendations and I LOVE them so much! Not sure there’s a perfect product for it yet but for a dirty clothes bag, I use a fold up into itself nylon duffle bag (Eddie Bauer) and since it travels small and unfolded it has a lot of pockets so I get to pre-sort my dirty clothes making it even easier to manage when I get home. 😊

So, I recently came back from a conference and used a makeup bag that is similar, but I got it from Ulta. The one you demonstrated looks so much better. The Ulta one has Velcro on the side. As a result, it’s challenging to zip it all up. The Amazon one makes more sense. Added to cart.

For the shampoo/ conditioner bottles, etc I just put a small piece of medical tape.. either paper tape or the cloth tape ..on the lid and never had anymore issues with them leaking or bursting open. A small piece does the trick.

Random FYI - in French, the l'accent aigu (é) like in Béis and passé is pronounced like "eh"/"ay" - lots of product names have it, so hopefully thats helpful lol
