After the first six episodes, Captain Richard Jenko (Frederic Forrest) was killed by a drunk driver, and was replaced by Captain Adam Fuller (Steven Williams, L.A. Heat).
I love this show for a multitude of reasons... but I think the main two reasons is because I see the city I grew up in, all over the show... and it was the show to put Vancouver on the map for filming locations... alot of the locations still stand, even though they don't look the same, there are so many things that haven't changed... the "Hastings" bus at beginning of S4 & S5 intros still runs to this day.. parts of the DT core still look as they did in the show... I often consider walking around Downtown taking quick videos of movie and TV show filming locations and creating a fan-made movie celebrating the shows and films that were made here, but I don't know if it would even have an audience....
Johnny Depp (Officer Tom Hanson) left the series at the end of its fourth season, but was credited in the first two episodes of the fifth season despite of not appearing.

Amo esta serie,21 Jump Street,o COMANDO ESPECIAL,aqui en LATAM la vi en 1,993,cuando tenia 10 años,han pasado 30 años desde que la vi,pero la verdad ver a Jhonny Deep (Tom Hanson), Peter De Louise(Douglas Penhall),Holly Robinson (Judith Hoofs), Dustin Nguyen (Harry Ioki),mi personaje favorito el que hizo Richard Grieco (Dennis Booker),el agente mas rudo,tenia madera para seguir en la serie,solo estuvo en la 3 y 4 temporada, pero se decía que se tenían celos con Jhonny Deep,pero al final Booker sacó su propia serie pero no le dieron seriedad a la trama del personaje,y se fue sin pena ni gloria. La 5 temporada de 21 jump street, fue pésima ya no estaban Hanson,Booker,Penhall ni Ioki,los capítulos eran somníferos,y de alli todo llego a su final.
The love the second theme song version and the season 1 through early season 3 intro format. After episode 10, Season 2, they messed up the theme music.

It didn't work cause they made more of a comedy and not a serious movie like the show. It wasn't a comedy they did that with the dukes of Hazzard movie too that's why neither movie made any money or sense.
Depp and Nguyen weren't in season 5. Your season 5 intro is from season 4. There were 2 season 1 intros (one with Forrest, one with Williams). I think your season 2 intro is the second season 1 intro and that's why the other ones are off. Season 5 was the one with Michael Bendetti and Michael DeLuise.
Actually, there were several versions of each season's intros, with season 5, then season 1 having the most. In this intro collage, Season 1, version 1, Season 2, version 1, Season 3, version 1, Season 4, version 1, and Season 4, version 2 are shown.
I watched this show as a kid. After all these years, i still remembered the characters. But Dustin Nguyen is completely erased from my memory. Catchy theme song.
Richard Grieco did his two seasons (3-4) it should’ve made Grieco in the intro credit for the special guest star. Even known Booker show was sucks. 21JS shouldn’t got Grieco off the show. When Depp left the show. Grieco would’ve been stay take over the lead replace Depp.
