I am developmentally delayed possibly hard of hearing I do rely on lip-reading alot but I learned sign awhile back to be inclusive to my parents coworkers granddaughter who used a little bit of sign language to help her communicate. Now I have a 1 year old who loves to explore and go outside but has also recently failed her hearing test so she is considered hard of hearing so I am relearning sign so I can teach her and also know a few others who use sign language to communicate. Thank you for this video and others you have been very easy to learn from!
Happy 2023 everyone 🎉 I did not know about signs painted into art. The paintings are pretty! Thank you, Meredith for showing us more than one sign for some words. It eliminates confusion of, "I thought the sign (looked like) this or that." I learned the sign CANYON. I tried to put some of the sentences into asl before you did, but you beat me on all of them. I'm going to keep practicing sentence structure here. I love to breathe crisp, fresh air and to walk through lush greenery. I like catching insects and playing with reptiles, but my fave way to appreciate nature is to bungee jump @ night, preferably over a pool or some other water. I get to be part of nature's backdrop! LOVE IT ME! 💕
I really enjoyed this video. I’ve worked in camp ministry and enjoy being outside. A fun recommendation would be to do a video on camping signs; including words that you do in nature!😎
Could I suggest showing words like "11. Land" before "Desert" or "Plains"? It's cool to see the base word "land" develop into "desert" and "plains". Loving all these categories though!
I wanted to learn sign language because I saw a student who came in our school to tour, and he had a interpreter with him doing sign. It got me thinking that I should be able to communicate with people in anyway I can!
I like nature in moderation. Unfortunately in Texas, it's sometimes hot one day and cold the next, lol. Like the saying goes, "If you don't like Texas weather, wait a minute. It will change."
