The Metro-Drake beef doesn't stem from Her Loss, remember Metro rejected a Drake verse on the H&V album. This is obviously something that was brewing behind the scenes.
You really think that Drake hasn't had verses turned down from other artist.Metro even said in that same interview that Drake told him that he could use the verse or not.He just wanted to do a verse because he liked the song.

Drake helped to not save but keep 21 savage at a high level. If he didn’t have that her loss album and tour he’d be falling off. His careers declining now, but Drake injected more life into it.
