I need a good BBQ raccoon recipe here in Louisiana. Gonna need one when I get hens next spring. There`s a creek in the woods nearby. Raccoons are eating all my bird seeds too and the birds feed my garden pests to their young. So I have a developing problem. I used to run 175 fur traps but I only set traps in water to avoid catching non targeted critters.

The size of some raccoons up here, a rotating spit may be better! They can get really big but this has helped keep the chickens safe. A

Looking forward to seeing your results. I’ve heard of these traps but have never used them. Some bait with marshmallows. Anyway, Rocky is in for a surprise the next time he comes-a-chicken-callin’ 😅 now I have used and been successful with the “Have-a-heart” traps. Though I will say the name is a little bit of an oxymoron as to what happens afterwards 🫣
