Dang! You guys are really good! I’m glad I was able to go have the opportunity of competing against your team. It was a great experience and I hope to learn from you!
Quick question, on the motor mogo lift, is it just the long HS shaft and the rubber bands keeping the lift stable and up, or did you use motor braking as well. Overall great design!
Hey! This robot is really good and i was wondering if i could recieve a instruction manual and the program commented. It would be really helpful for my kids to learn. It's their first year in vex and need some help!
When your two piston wings attract all the way, do those two wings rotate back up to 90 degrees from the ground. They aren’t like a one way mechanism right
Hey 2145z!!! Can you please make a video about/explain how many matches the air canistets last with your four actuators? Also, which actuators are one-way? Thanks!
@@yashaswikulshreshtha1588 Actually its not, its about 22 due to the measurements of the specifications being from the middle of each mogo. They probably have something to work with dropping the extra bit on the end to fit the size limit, but their chassis is well in the 18 limit.
Ok but now drive near ringles lol. But for real you might want to put something down by the drivetrain and maybe move the wheels more inside so you can block rings from the front also.
with the competition bar thingy that engages the match can you still climb? our team is experiencing difficulties climbing even when the wings are tucked in.
My program, with around 10 team, scrimmaged and we found out that ring loaders don’t rly matter outside of auton and skills, not a single person after the first match actually scored rings during driver control even tho several robots had a working ring loader
@@somerandomperson6875 I think as the season goes on and people get more efficient it will matter more. Everyone is gonna be great at getting mogos so it might just come down to rings
@@caseyhein698 I’m at a tournament rn and the whole driver control period everyone is just fighting for goals, not a single ring is scored unless on accident, and some of the best team in the country r here as well such as Bridget Bot
@@somerandomperson6875 I can agree that at the highest level of play, rings will be very important to determining the winner of a match. Comparing an early season event such as the Benton county fair to higher level of play just doesn’t work as teams in august attending the first event of the season wont be nearly as optimized as they will be throughout the season.
@@daquanfisher great work, impressive… sorry new to vex… 360 3.25? Vex has V5 Gear Cartridges (Red:100 RPM, Green:200 RPM, Blue: 600 RPM) assume “gear up” 200 to get to ~360 or “gear down” a 600 to get to ~360? What is best, increase speed starting on a 200 or increase toque starting on a 600? Also appreciate if you could share the Cad design.
@@liltaesh4359 were you there? did you see the robot’s there? Them and 169Y would’ve kicked ass. With their combined offloading & defensive capabilities plus 2145Z’s ability to balance with multiple mogos would have made them unstoppable. And even if they didn’t alliance, 2145Z would’ve kicked ass as their robot is just better than most of the other robots at the event.
@@connorm_3605 yes I was team 8110b second seed going into the finals and I completely agree everyone there actually sucked but we did only lose both matches by 10 points in the finals and I feel like freedom would of had a chance if those 2 teamed up
