GREAT VID - I opened my heater and same problem - I bypassed the thermal fuse with piece of wire soldered in and it works fine. Still chucking it though, by the time I've bought the thermal fuse and messed about I've saved a ten quid heater - but it was fun getting it going again. Thanks Haseeb Electronics!
No everyone have equipments like your meter at home. For females like myself please show how to fix things without these equipments too. Also you should have shared the fuse changing too.
Thank you for such an informative video. Any chance you could help me troubleshoot a fan heater problem that heats for a few seconds then stops due to the thermal switch clicking open? The fan works perfectly. I’m not sure if I need to replace the thermal switch or another part. Please, can you help?
best regards thermal protection trips off when there is inadequate air flow through fan heater, and the temperature in heater area increases, in that case thermal protection gets activated and protects the heater. you can send a picture to whats-app 00-962-79-11-61-084
@@HaseebElectronics i have same fan heater but the connection where the coil joints are white plastic corner burnt and broken off So now I can see glowing light in connection wires Do i need to change that plastic white element part?
Buongiorno, ho una stufetta che ha solo una manopola. La resistenza diventa incandescente e stacca. Ho cambiato il fuse perché interrotto ma ancora fa il difetto. Cosa mi consigli?
Thank you 😊 i got an idea from you. The fuse cuts the flow of currency if its dead, so just put a wire that runs aross the fuse to ensure the flow of current is not interrupted and its now working 💃💃
My heater was not switching on and I did this but now it's only blowing cold air. Could u please refere me to a video you made or know that explains how to fix the heating element
Thank you for informative demonstrating on how to fix the heater fan. I have subscribed to your channel. I have a similar heater fan but I am unable to unscrew that have Y heads. Could you kindly advise where to get the screw driver? I have been to hardware store and they have a full sets of screw driver and don't sell single Y head screw driver.
Good video, but the really critical bit is missing: what fuse did you use and how did you replace a broken fuse which looks as if it is riveted in place?
it is SF214E 250V 10Ampere thermal fuse. it is used when thermal switch or thermostat can not open teh circuit or air flow stops due to any obstruction in air inlet or outlet, the inner temperature will increase withing the heater body, so this fuse will disconnect the circuit as a last step in safety
For my case, the fan runs well but the heating element is not working. Can I use any electrical 10Ampere fuse? Getting the very specific fuse is difficult.
10 ampere normal fuse works normally but it will not act in over temperature condition. it's safety will bypassed in case any obstruction in air flow will cause to catch fire
This is very interesting dear friend !!! Thank you for sharing this helpful upload !!! 👍27 Warm greetings from the sleeping "Garden of Angels" in Austria......have a great Sunday.....Saderé💜
Salaam wucyclum brother jazzallah khiar for the video and help, I put a new fuse and then goes cut off and then come back on.It doesn't go to hight temporary. The fuse is the same thermal cutoffs type SF119E rated ope temp 121°C. What do you thing brother need bigger fuse. Stay warm model F2003WH voltage 220-240v-50Hz 1800-2000W Batch DXF0039266
yes dear you are right. i western countries it is same scenario. but if it is repairable at low cost then it must be repaired instead of throwing it away at minor faults
Would u have to reassemble the powercoils to just use the fan without the heating element.or would you need to add start capacitor if u bypass the thermostat cord.
