now we know if you get a present from justin is by the wrapping, anywaysss this was so nice to see what your life is like at home, loved it!

justin, I had to pause when you showed us the first present you wrapped😂💀 I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT LMAO. So idk if this is gonna make sense, but for wrapping things that are rectangular, you're going to use the box as a guide for how much wrapping paper you need. I tend to cut 2x the length of the box, just so that you know it will all be covered. Once you cut that, you can either line the box in the middle and bring both sides to cover the whole box OR you can line the box near the edge of the paper, making sure that the paper covers the entirety of the side near the edge (I am hoping this makes sense). After that, take what's left over of the paper and cover the rest of the box. Once you've taped that down, you're going to deal with the sides. I've found the easiest way is to hold the box with your knees and then take both hands and press the short sides of the paper down to the box. The longer sides should naturally fold into an almost triangle shape. So you have a couple options. If the triangle fold over each other neatly (and like lay one down and then the other one on top) and don't have any excess (or if you're lazy and don't want to deal with them), just fold them and tape down. If you want it to look prettier/neater, you can either cut some of the excess of the triangles off so that when you fold them, it stays on just that side of the box OR instead of cutting some off, you can just fold the paper so it's neater. For wrapping cylinders, you want to make sure you can wrap the whole circumference, and then just twist the two ends like a candy wrapper. This was very long, but I hope it made sense lmao, but when in doubt, gift bags and tissue paper haha. hope you had a great birthday!!
