Agree sm but yeah it's wild, the Tok kids are declaring eyeshadow dead and saying it's for "old ladies". Idc, lol I guess we'll be old ladies with our palettes! Give it 5 years then they'll allll want our vintage palettes.
I lucked out and got one of the very last Ultra Violet pallettes before they stopped making them. I'm so damn grateful. Purple is my favorite eyeshadow colors and UV is a must have.💜💜

I LOVE your pretty top! I have some of these pallets and they are perfection. There are others that I wish I had. I would love to use reds and warm tone but they don’t look that good on my eyes. They do look good on my cheeks so my pallets are always multi use.
Great picks! I agree with your choices. Unearthly, Adept and Ensley Reign eye shadow palettes have me in a chokehold. I've been wearing beautiful indie eye shadows everyday!
I can't remember all that I've tried. And what is worse is that I buy faster than I try so most of the palettes you mentioned are still on the dining room table swatched but not tried.
I’m so basic. The only one I think I’d use is the Sigma palette. Right now I have a Sephora brand palette I use to set down my painterly paint pot, and then I guess I either finish with that palette or go to I need a nude or glam. Very predictable!!! 😂

I think it’s dead for the average makeup wearer, but not for the small indie beauty community. We are more of a niche market. The younger generations are more focused on clean girl makeup or minimal eyeshadow with bright colored graphic liners. Ariana Grande does minimal shadow with bright graphic liner a lot. She’s 31 so she is not younger, but she sets the trends that the younger generations follow. It might be dead with most people, but that’s okay. They can wear or not wear whatever they want, and we can wear all the eyeshadow we want too.
