I saw Jurassic World 2, and I have to say I loved it! That is what Jurassic Park 2 should have been like; also finally a movie studio got Carnotaurus perfect in design and size when Rexy showed up.
It’s doubtful spinosaurus would win a fight against a tyrannosaurus. Spinosaurous had the length and (possible) weight advantage, but it was quite slender-bodied and had a much weaker skull with conical teeth meant only for grabbing. Tyrannosaurus had a much more powerful skull with a crushing bite and teeth like bone chisels. Winner goes to the dinosaur that actually had the weapons to take on big game, not the part-time crocodile. It would have been like a 40lb pit bull against a 60lb greyhound.
Sometimes it blows my mind that all of these creatures were real. I mean it almost seems mythical and unbelievable but they were really REAL. Same with all the ancient hominids....crazy
rzrselliott that's what I think when I think about dinosaurs or even most prehistoric animals for that matter it's a shame I'll never be able to see such fascinating animals :(
All Jurassic movies have taken literary license with the actual dinosaurs, but that is typical of any movie that is not a documentary. After all, thrilling the audience is top priority. Funny he didn't mention that the mosasaur, although big, was nowhere near the size show in the movie before the current release. But it was more fun to see that giant, I'll admit. Other errors abound, like the inability to roar as the T. Rex did, but some of this was due simply to the lack of the results of the latest research that we have. Still, would we have it any other way? We all love the big guys and their huge roars!
I know alot of them like Tyrannosaurus rex , velociraptor, Dilophasaurus, mosasaurus, stegosaurus, tricaratops, Brachiosaurus, apotasaurus, stiggymolach, parasalolaphis, carnotaurus, baryonix, ceratosaurus, pteranadon, dimophadon, ankilosaurus, copsicnothas, corithasaurus, spinosaurus, sinosauratops, and I'll make a nother comment on more
Actually the Parasaurolophus' crest is used for communication because it's hallow, air comes in the nostril travels through the crest and releases the air through the mouth and will release a Depp bellowing sound, that's what I heard anyway from multiple sources...
Actually the velociraptors in Jurassic Park are naked bigger deinonychuses, they changed the name so people won’t mispronounce the name it just sounds cool
Utahraptors/Deinonychus are in the Jurassic Park/World movies. We call them Velociraptors. When Chricton wrote the books, Utahraptors (Utahraptor ostrommaysorum) and Deinonychus (Deinonychus antirrhopus) were subspecies of Velociraptors (Velociraptor ostrommaysorum and Velociraptor antirrhopus), but before the production of the movie, they were switched into their own genus. As to keep continuity to the book(s), instead of changing the name to the new genus, they kept the original name of Velociraptor, because it also sounded more vicious. There are interviews with the Spielberg and the movie makers about this. Also Pteranodon was in JP3 as well, which would have put it in all 5 movies also.
Pretty sure T-Rex would destroy a Spinosaur. Spino was a fish eater with coned teeth meant for gripping (it also didn't know any neck breaking dino martial arts). More like a huge croc that couldn't deathroll. Rex was built to kill big dinos with curved knife-like teeth meant for tearing and killing.
Spino is a fish eater a scavenger and a hunter, it hunted it 2 coz there were no rivers in the summer where it lived, that is why they died out as well there were no rivers. no water no food no animals to hunt no fish to catch andly bone. so yes it walked on 4 and on 2 the scientists are confused coz it is the only dino to hunt on land and in water with the skill to swim coz of its webbed feet and and of how it had the balance for it to walk on land on 2s. i can go on and on with that. So ya it has a bigger chance to kill T-Rex.
On the brachiosaurus I noticed you put jp2 and not JP. Brachiosaurus was never in JP2 and was featured many times in JP being the first dinosaur you saw in the franchise.
Sir I'm correcting you on something you said about in the movies raptors not having feathers when in fact in Jurassic Park III one of them had feathers.
Jurassic park's velociraptors are actually based on deinonychus, as in '89, when michael chrichton wrote Jurassic Park, deinonychus and velociraptor were interchangeable, but chose to refer to them as velociraptor because it was a much more ominous name. Also, why isn't JP1 listed with the brachiosaurus?
Spinosaurus had a primary diet of fish. They lived in shallow waters and were more like modern day alligators and crocodiles. It would never have chased and hunted people down like it did in Jurassic Park.
I think the scientifically accurate Spino couldn't take on a T-rex. But I think the one from the movie could easily take on the Rex, because that one is actually the first hybrid.
I guess is a raptor skeleton the one in the freaking franchise logo, since raptors are the dinosaur most closely identified with the Jurassic film's franchise
My top favorite Dinosaurs 5.Allosaurus 4. Baronyx 3.Velociraptor (or at least any fast dinosaurs including galamimus) 2. Dilophasuarus And of course of you read my channel name you would already know 1. Spinosaurus
Spinosaurs were known to take on t-rex’s and win, they were a more natural born predator, where as t-rex’s were scavengers. T-rex’s had many flaws including poor eye sight and once they fell over, they could get back up, but the spinosaur only had one major in the fact that once it was bitten on the back fin it would bleed out quickly
Daniel Smith actually people think spinosaur would win because of Jurassic Park 3 but in the movie the spinosaur kill him because he snap his neck but in reality the spinosaur jaw isn't that strong it's main weopons is it's claws if a spinosaur fight a t-rex it most likely it use it's claws not his jaw
Daniel Smith also something else I want to say is that t-rex being a scavenger isn't completely true the t-rex may be both a hunter and a scavenger and the T-Rex having poor eye sight is kinda fake in fact the t-rex have a great eye sight might be the greatest eye sight in the animal kingdom and the spinosaur most likely eats fishes not sure if their truelly natural born pretetors (sorry If might have not type words in correctly)
Dude, if it was the Jurassic Survival guide that was all in good fun, they didn't really live together BUT T rex was likely more scavenger than predator.
Spino could never kill rex because spino skull could never give a killer bite that could never bite through a Rexs neck and rex had the strongest bit of any land dino
Just because it's bite was weaker than a rexes doesn't mean it was weak. Also, it could use it's sail to look bigger, like a frilled lizard and frighten it away. It had giant freddy krueger claws too.
Sigh. Back in JP, the main character was laughed at when he said dinosaurs are bird ancestors. That fact was recognized in the movie yet but still an unwelcomed discovery of the people (at least in the movie) around that time.
Utah raptor is basically already in the movies as the "velociraptor". If they added the Utah raptor it would probably confuse people since it would basically look the same as their velociraptors. Plus Utah raptor sounds dumb... thanks Utah.
Tje spinosaurous had a diet consisting mainly on fish, and it didnt have the strength necessary to break a T-Rex's neck which is one of the strongest out of all the dinos, the only possible way it could win is ripping its stomach while using its long arms to hold the trex down
First comment, You got quite a bit of The dinosaurs movie appearances wrong. and you forgot Mamenchisaurus from the second JP movie Also No, a Spinosaurs can't kill a t-rex, it wasn't even built for fighting dinosaurs
What are some days are in cranes book data and show or if you can why didn't mention it but they'll show in the movie die like the book version 1 I do love the movie
Accurate stuff these dinosaurs I know they have feathers but you don't like the scaly guys but baby terrifying with death Fetters it is like a chime for I'll just pick on your eyes
the gaming snake I did not know that mamenchisaurus was in the lost world Jurassic park I thought it was a brachiosaurus or a apatosaurua or diplodocus
wait the pterodactyl was not in the 1st movie and they were not in the second one but yes it was in the 3rd one. like WHAAAA why has no one noticed it.
6:20 this is my favorite dinosaur of all time, n yes, I think it could easily take out a T-Rex, bcuz 1: It's arms r longer than the T-Rex's n r more flexible, 2: It's slightly bigger than the T-Rex, n 3: It's mouth is bigger than the T-Rex's
Problem-Rexes most likely had a stronger bite,As rexes focused on Hadrosaurs and Triceratops And others, while Spinos focused mostly on water prey,Which meant maneuverability,Instead of bite strength. The arms mainly would be used for picking up prey,And maybe walking if it walked on both 2's and 4's.Also,The size of the mouth doesnt determine bite force,In fact, that could be a repercussion,As there would be extra space to clamp down,Generally,I think the only thing the spino does better than Rexes,Is swimming and swinging attacks with it's arms.Thats the only thing I'd say Is better.Theres also the chance of Battle zone which let's say is between a lake and forest,Luck,And experience. If it was an experienced spino and a Young rex,No duh the spino would most likely win,But let's go with relatively Experienced,The both of them. They'd most likely take some time to finish off each other,Though it'd be quite difficult,It would most likely result in a draw with both leaving to lick their wounds.Probably atleast one of them would die though,As they would most likely die from blood loss if they Challenged each other And fought for quite a bit. Also,The narrow landing snout was for grabbing fish more easily and the fish are way weaker than hadrosaurs and stuff,And in battle,If they were Too close,The rex would have an advantage of having a shorter snout,So it would be able to turn its head more easily than the spino,And would probably inflict more damage if it's close quarters. Also,If they fought on land,T rex would have more Advantages,As it's more built for land than the spino,Like as if the. Battle was in water,Spino would most likely win.In other words,Dont assume just off How big a certain feature is compared to another that it is better.
