Nice post. Been using the transfer foils for 20 year. If you spry both the foam and the foil and them them dry you can get better results. I would do 2" wide strips and then cut them out with a punch or stencils. Also try Sticky Foam. Put the foam on the hook then peal off the cover. Put a strip of Blue over the top then put pearl over the bottom. Two Tone Foiled Crease Fly. You can also take the paper off the stick foam, but the strips in it and then put it back on and cover it.
