The South Tyrolean Weger brothers thrive on challenges and variety. Both were world-class kayakers, with Matthias being part of the Austrian national team, and his younger brother Jakob a medal contender for Italy. Besides, they are passionate paragliders, base jumpers, and freeriders.
Winter 2022/23 had already ended for the two in May, until they were alerted by their friend and snowboarding legend Krister Kopala about an approaching storm and massive snowfall-350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in Norway. Spontaneously, Matthias and Jakob headed to the Lyngen Alps, possibly to conquer one line: the Arctic Dreamline, despite extreme weather conditions.
