We are travelling between countries in this video. We catch a twenty two hour ferry to Greece, docking in the port of Patras. The journey is long but we get comfy on board. People camp out on this ferry and I even saw tents up on the open deck. Some travelers are super organised and have brought blow up beds! I enjoy looking around the ferry, Simon is trying his best to get insurance for when we hit Turkey, it's not easy to obtain!
when we get the call to disembark we join the other bikers and mad max buggy's and prepare BUT the Sporty's battery has run down and it won't start. The tension is nail-biting and Simon feels the pressure more than ever!
Luckily the bike spurts into action and we can make our way off the ferry and head off to our hotel for the night.
We are riding a Harley Davidson Sportster 883
Ancona to Patras ferry cost £250 pounds for us and the bike together with reserved seats which we did not need! This was booked in advance with Direct Ferry's.
Wifi on board is cheap £5 for the entirety of the journey.
Food was reasonable £14 for a fish and chips, pudding and two drinks.
Donuts ( they were massive!), tea and a coffee was £12.
