Fast and the Furious is never worth the wait - ever. The cars in the queue are the best part of the ride besides the exit. I generally visit annually and the annual pass is well worth it and I live in Colorado. Parking alone if you are there for a few days adds up in a hurry. Great advice as usual - Rick is the man.

My niece got picked for the wand show over a year ago on our last trip. She still talks about it and that her wand has unicorn hair in it. It is totally worth the wait!

Would definitely agree about Fast and the Furious, don’t wait any longer than 20mins :-) What I would recommend is the drinks cups, when we were at Universal we saved so much money in the drinks cups, you pay for the cup and you can drink as much as you like all day and if you are back the next day you can reuse the cup and pay a small amount and do it again :-) worth it

We did VIP at both California and Florida parks during Christmas week in the past two years and it was worth it.

I totally agree.. I have done this in both Orlando and California several times as well and if you are limited on time and want to take advantage of both parks this is a great way to experience it. Not only do you get to skip to the front of the line you also get to enjoy breakfast and lunch at the La Bamba restaurant which serves a huge variety of food and I do mean variety of every taste buds. Oh let's no forget free valet parking and very knowledgeable tour guides. While this service is costly per person this is definitely "Worth It" (considering you get everything I just mentioned) and if you want to enjoy every ride in both parks in a short about of time (6 hours).

1000000% agree with everything lol, to speak to the early admission. I just went on Jan 9th and got in IOA at 7 am and I was the first to ride Hagrids which was really cool because not only were we the first to ride, we got to ride it while it was still dark and Hagrids is sooo different in the dark.

Things to think about if my family ever consider going again and again. You just had to put Marilyn in there did t ya?!? Gonna have to see Merf when we go. Cannot wait till we walk through the brick wall at HP. My daughter love Fast and Furious as do I so we are going to try it but it’s gonna be hard to keep an open mind. 😉. We visited a couple of years ago from the UK, we stayed on site at portofino so we got the express pass - we decided pre visit we were getting the express pass therefor upgrading to deluxe resort. We have used express pass many times in the past and always found it good value. Standing in line for 2 hrs per ride is not a good use of time if your only visiting once or twice a year. Early park entry for resort guest is fantastic - word of warning they don’t let you use express pass for escape from gringotts until the park opens . So the regular line backs up quickly. My advice hang around the entrance of the ride till park opens then jump right in. 😬 Dinning plan has been worth it for us but you have to use it wisely . Also refill cups are great and can be used the next dat for a small charge.

I stayed at Universal Studios Endless Summer Resort the 1st week of December of 2019 and I spent a little over $1500 for 1 person and everything included and I recommend you to purchase the refillable mug because you can use that at any Coke free soda machines throughout all 3 parks and you can also use the mug for slushies and all 3 parks and the dining plan and if you don't use whun of your meals they roll over to the next day

I have had the Premier for a long time based on a number of reasons. Express after 4pm, free entry to City Walk clubs, free Prime Parking, and one free ticket to HHN. All these make the passes worth the extra cost. All the other benefits (discounts, early entry, etc) are just bonuses to me.

The VIP is definitely worth it.... if you have only 1 day to visit. You can do both parks, with breakfast and lunch and no waiting in line at all. We got to do 10 of the main attractions if I recall.

We stayed at the Loews Royal Pacific during the whole week of Christmas and it is well worth the price!!!! The crowds were great and the longest we waited was 30 minutes only because one person was working the line at the end. We didn’t mind at all. If you don’t use all of your meal plan, it never expires

That is why I got it. I live out of state and likely will only visit a few times a year. However, not having to pay $100+ each day for Express Passes is a huge money saver. The Express Passes also get more expensive the more crowds are expected. So, for Saturdays or holiday weeks, if your group is not staying at a premiere hotel for the unlimited Express Pass during your stay, the after 4 Express Pass is a huge help. I like to use the early morning entry for AP holders, enjoy the parks for a few hours until the crowds get annoying or I'm tired, head to the hotel and take a nap or lounge at the pool. The Premiere pass allows me to get the main hotel perks without paying the Universal hotel fees. Any AP will allow you to book the discounted hotel rooms, though. So, if you are only going once or twice a year, I'd suggest not getting he premiere pass but getting a lower level AP and planning a family stay at a premiere Universal hotel. At these locations, your room includes unlimited express passes the day of check in , check out, and each day during your stay. I've done a Saturday night stay and gotten an express pass for Saturday and Sunday on a really busy weekend(Universal reached capacity on the Saturday). The AP saved me over $150/night and I got two days of Express Passes that, if purchased separately, would have been $250 each day. The discount would have worked with any level AP. The hotel room was $330 at Royal Pacific with the AP discount that night. Staying during the week would have been cheaper.

I recommend you buy park/annual passes and express passes online. - Better deals and no wait times. If you're flying into Orlando and staying at a Universal hotel, I recommend Universal Superstar Shuttle. It's worth it. They will transport you from MCO Airport to your Universal hotel and it is a cheaper cost than ride shares, taxis, etc.

@@michellele1063 it's best to buy express passes online and early because depending on how many people are in the park or if it's a busy week, prices could increase while you're there. But if you're staying at a Universal premiere tier hotel then express is free. My express passes came free with my hotel stay

I did the Holiday tour and absolutely recommend doing it. It did not include rides, but you got to go behind the scenes and my guide had so many cool facts about the park! The hot chocolate was delicious and The Grinch was hilarious! We got to be in Hogsmead with just the other guest in the tour and got to see the holiday projection show on Hogwarts castle while enjoying my hot butterbeer; Worth every penny!!!!

IMO the non privte VIP tour is worth it because you not only skip the normal lines and usually go through the exit or employee entrances to enter rides, you also do that for non express pass rides like Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure & VelociCoaster. Cost is just slightly more than double the express pass, which if you're considering anyways, then think about spending a little more for the non-private VIP (up to 15 people in your group) You also get fed a light breakfast and full lunch on the tour and see a lot of behind the scenes on rides and other studio attractions.

VIP tour is definitely worth it!! Breakfast at the Today Cafe is included (food, any coffee beverage), lunch is included (non-alcoholic beverage, appetizer, entree, and dessert), front of the line for 9+ attractions AND an express pass for the rest for your day. HIGHLY recommend!!

@@ambergaffney2705 thanks for the reply. When we went we stayed in one of their premium hotels so it included Express passes to all their attractions. This helped us see all of both parks on our trip. I recommend you look into it. The express pass is something like 200 per guest per day so staying in one of their premium hotels and getting express pass included offsets the higher cost of the hotel and you might even save money.

The VIP Tour is totally worth the money. Yes you get to walk through the back areas to skip the lines at the rides, but that is definitely not the reason to buy it...if you are buying to just skip all the lines and marathon your favorites, you will be very disappointed. The VIP guides are experts in everything Universal (ask the guide the process to get hired) and will take you to a lot of behind the scenes areas that you would never be able to see as a regular park guest. The guide will give you tips and tricks for getting around the park by yourself, and answer any of your crazy questions. Plus you get fed 2 meals and get to use your lanyard to use as an express pass the rest of the day.

Rix, might want to mention that for those who are 21, Duff beer (Homer Simpson's favorite) and Hogs Head in WW of Harry Potter. Those are in-house brews. In other words, NOT available to the general public. I've tried Duff twice and I can see why Homer goes nuts over it to the point that it once was the theme of an episode of the Simpsons...

I haven't seen anyone mention this but I had the 2 park promotional ticket last year and Universal just sent another promotion targeted to people with that ticket. They're offering huge discounts on annual passes so I got a Power Pass for only $98. You can get an annual pass for only $52.

It’s a must to build multiple streams of income especially in this period of the pandemic. Also, have in mind we don’t know if or when another pandemic can happen. So now is really the best time to start pushing a side hustle because no one can fire you from your own business and well your 9-5 we all know how quick they can get rid of you. If you have to work to pay bills by all means do what you have to do but make sure you get your priorities together. I've been doing that by investing in the stocks, bitcoin and financial market and I'm grateful to say I've earned a lot so far this month working with M's Mariana Amber through her registered investment company. I love them parks more than anything, but going in busy season is not worth it. It feels like cattle and when its hot it’s horrible. The have very few spaces to seat and with shade and the prices for express pass its not worth it unless its for Halloween horror nights. Most of the time the express pass its more than double the price of the regular ticket and that its BS. Bit im a masochist and i still go to the parks. Hope i get to see you one day Rick!

@@mortar235 This time we are staying over in the Davenport area. Just off Highway 27 about 20-30 minutes drive away. Depending on traffic.

Tbh i know that Poseidon's Fury is technically not worth it from an unbiased standpoint, but i'm not gonna lie, i feel personally attacked and offended that it's considered 'not worth it' hahaha! it's very cheesy and old and needs an update, but every single time my family goes to universal, we go see it and enjoy it each time, it's sorta like watching old campy nostalgia movies. for a person new to universal, yea prob not worth it, unless they like that sorta stuff.

I like that experience...the water tunnel is really fun. I also think the design of the entire area is amazing enough that it deserves some attention.
