Re-uploaded to correct a dumb misspelling.
Although I usually work on my music fairly slowly, sometimes *something* lights a large fire under my creative arse and stuff gets done a lot faster. This piece is an example of that. It's a *meditation* on A.C.A.B. As soon as I had that idea, the whole piece started coming together very quickly. Since this entire collection is based on its first opening notes (C-D-Bb-C), and ACAB is just another iteration of those intervals, I had to go with it. Plus, there's *the philosophical angle* with which I am in full agreement anyway.
So, ACAB is all over the place in this piece in one way or another. The middle section is equipped with two fine old appropriately-named tunes from "Howe's 1000 Jigs And Reels": "Pig Town Fling" and "Whole Hog Or None". It ends with what I consider an appropriate musical response to all that has gone before.
