I was at the game. We commented how bad the officials were all game. It seemed like for 5 minutes in a row, the refs were pro K-State, then for the next 10 minutes pro Iowa State. We're not used to having refs blow whistles in our favor. We shot 16 more free throws than K-State. I call bs on the refs the whole night.

They called a lot of fouls where nobody touched anybody. Rob Jones (ISU) didn't touch anybody on his 2nd foul. Tre King (ISU) didn't do anything on his 5th foul and it wiped 2 points off the board, it was a flop by KSU player. Then very obviously on that last play Milan Momcilivic just slips, the KSU player did not foul him. The first half was officiated completely differently where they allowed tons of contact, Lipsey got fouled hard on a made basket to end half and no foul.

The two big head scratching calls to me were: 1. The goal tend on Ward. He blocked the shot when the ball was still in the KState player's hand. The ref right under the basket with the best view didn't call it, it was called by the ref near half court and he blew the whistle like 2-3 seconds after the play. 2. The KState foul on Momcilovic late in the game were Tang ended up getting a technical. I think Momcilovic just tripped on his own.

@@trevorpullen3199 Yeah, they were just plain bad the whole game, but there's no explaining away a 16 free throw difference. That's egregious. That's at Kansas EVERY FUCKING TIME like numbers.

1-They reviewed the goaltend and once it hits the backboard it is a goaltend. They even reviewed it so they got it right. Im more upset on how they dont call a flagrant foul when the Kstate player gets elbowed right in the middle of the court and the ref looks away.. @@trevorpullen3199

@@trevorpullen3199 I thought this live but looking at they replays from multiple angles he did get his leg tripped. Possible foot stepped on too. Given what they had been calling (everything and even stuff that was nothing), it had to be called.

I love how all these Iowa State fans are saying how Tang is a cry baby. This game was horribly officiated. I guarantee your fan base and coach would be just as pissed if the tables were reversed. Used to like Iowa State but this game showed me that fanbase has turned into another KU.

@oinkoinkoink I think the game was lost at that point anyways. I think he just had enough once that no call flagrant 1 elbow happened. K-State definitely shot themselves in the foot with turnovers but that game was just poorly officiated.

@@karlpage9028 K State does the same thing when KU is at their court. Cry babies. You got beat and the assistant coach said some awful things to a student mgr that was wiping the sweat off the floor during a time out. Then they accused Iowa State of cheating? Man that’s rich.
