FYI: Haiden’s fastest lap in moto 1 was a 1:42.1 which was dead even with Tomac & Jett’s fastest of 1:42.1z Moto 2: Jett’s fastest lap was a 1:43.30 & Haiden’s fastest lap was a 1:43.39… Also in clean air Haiden was averaging 1:43.7.. Tomac was 1:44.0 They didn’t prep the track hardly any all day. Only 12 lap races so the track didn’t get completely destroyed. Not saying he beats Jett-but only 1 rider in the last 10yrs in 250 class has ran times equal to the best 450 riders on a given day. It’s rare it happens but it’s was Jett, of course.🤷♂️
Oh good info. Thanks for putting this down. Wild to me the guy can run similar lap times on a less powered bike. Shows he can be extremely good when it’s time to ride a 450.
Chase is actually just as good if not better than Jett imo. He just does not have that bike figured out in supercross . If this was outdoors , no way Jett beat Chase. Chase looked like a completely different rider. And Chase is better than Tomac , 100000%.
1st Moto Haiden’s best lap was 1/2 second faster than Eli’s and .1 seconds faster than Jett. Second moto Haiden was 1/2 second slower than Jett and Eli’s fastest time.
Deegan‘s race craft is damn good and if you don’t think that he can be jet Lawrence, you’re out of your damn mind I think he’s gonna give jet a run for his money. And Tom gonna do the same damn thing to Jett next year.
Haidens first moto best lap time was a 1:42:121 - Jetts was 1:42: 113 ...ET3 was 1:42;775 / Haidens moto 2 lap time was 1:43:386 ... Jetts was 1:42:861 ET3 was 1:44:850...... Chase Moto 1 .1:42:571 Chase Moto 2 1:43.351 So Haiden could have done pretty damn good riding a 250 in the 450 class , I think a top 5 highly is possible !
I cant wait for the Jett Haiden battle. Takin Jett down will not be easy and look I'm as huge a Deegan fan as anyone but that Jettson is as smoothe as my freshly shaved head
Dude, YOU LOST ME at “Chance Hymas still looked pretty good”. You’ve got to be kidding me! He did awful. Bro… I guarantee you, when Deegan gets on the 450, JCoop will be beaten. Regarding racing against the 450s on a 250, did you not see how many creative passes he had? The lap times? I believe him, Tomac, and Jett all had the same (if not nearly the same) fastest laps. Every step of the way, people have downplayed Deegan. The kid will be Jett’s number one competition before long. Even more so than Sexton. Yeah, I SAID LOL! Chase is too inconsistent in SX. Deegan’s style will be perfect for 450s. Look how much he’s improved his technique in just this past year. He will continue to get better. Like RC said, you HAVE TO ride that fine line sometimes, and Deegan is one of the best when it comes to that. He has the speed now where he doesn’t have to risk it all to still pass someone. The kid is on fire.
@@twenty_three_mediastar does this thing where they put the slowest guy at the farm out front and the fastest at the back during practice. Every , single , time I have seen them practice; Haiden is in the very back. Tomac, Webb, Anstie , everyone is in front of him. Theres videos of them starting like that and Haiden finishing the practice in front of everyone. Should tell us everything we need to know
Yes, they said it wasn't worth the risk and when they hit the line perfectly, without the "quad", the difference was very small but very few hit the line clean every lap which ended up making the quad line quite a bit faster on average imho. Haiden passed many using the quad, and Eli gained time against Jett multiple times using it, so I think it was a mistake to tell the HRC riders not to hit it, but then again, there were many wrecks in that section not using the quad, and a mistake in the quad line would have possibly been much more serious so in the end, Jett won without using it once, so it may not have been a deal breaker after all. I dunno, but it sure was cool to watch the few that did hit it.
I actually agree that Deegan , on a 250, in the 450 class , could win. Or at least podium. And on a 450 if he had a month to practice , or even a week or two, I’d put him up for the win
