I don’t understand how Codd Dubz even managed to get a Monstercat release, I have not liked a single idea they put out

I agree and if my video was longer, a lot of these would be added. My only question is would this year be an upgrade or downgrade for OddKidOut? He certainly had it rough last year.

23 | I honestly thought this was a little strange. The bass doesn't really fit the vocals, which makes it really odd. 22 | This was the stage where I essentially fell out. I think Uncaged was the big carry this year for the label, and even though Instinct has some good tracks, a lot of bad ones hurt that part of them. 21 | You could go numb with this. I hate when repetition is what keeps the song alive, especially when it isn't all that interesting. 20 | Can't say much here, I was paying too much attention to Uncaged. 19 | The flow of the rhythms clash a bit here in this drop, and it does feel a bit scattered. 18 | Exactly what I was talking about with repetition. You're better off listening to something else. 17 | I think I'm the only one that genuinely enjoys this. I don't know why, I just do. 16 | This would go off live, but this isn't for me. 15 | I skipped over this one, honestly. And I think you gave me a reason why. 14 | Scream rap isn't really my thing. OKO I didn't pay too much attention to either. 13 | As great as Thrones of Blood is, this one didn't click with me. 12 | DIESEL's album has some great artists he was working with. And although they did well in their own way, there's only maybe 2-3 tracks from the album I put on repeat. Solid drops, I'll give it that. 11 | Again, OKO I didn't pay much attention to, so I can't say more than that. 10 | Sorry you feel that way, I thought this was actually pretty solid and goes off on its drops. Truthfully, this is one of the better DnB this year. 9 | Sound design is a bit too wonky, and in fact it hurts it a lot. 8 | I forget this exists, and I didn't really think this was any good to tell you the truth. 7 | These are the kinds of tracks that hurt Instinct. It's so stale and numbing that I would, again, rather listen to something else. 6 | Flow is just too weird for the track, and not a whole lot is going on to keep me interested. I don't think Whales' dubstep is really for me. Great art though, but that's it. 5 | A tad loud, but that's kind of the whole album. And I agree, this is more of a moshpit opener. 4 | The rhythm just doesn't work out for me. Dr. Ushuu was another artist I didn't pay much attention to, and the clunkiness of this one hurts to hear. 3 | I guess we're all in agreement that this is a Disciple Round Table sound that isn't in the right place. 2 | Not very pleasant, really. Can't say much other than that. 1 | I think this one is more for like live sets. I thought it had something to like, but this is the second track I didn't really like from Thrones of Blood, my third being Pursuit of Violence.

23. Getting too much hate honestly, it's unique. 22. This is so chill and beautiful but not for others. 21. Psytrance let's go! And it's good! 20. Monstercat shouldn't accept this stuff. 19. Weak compared to the rest of the album. 18. Oh wow a new song! Wait it's more if this... 17. Nothing grand but nothing terrible here. 16. I don't know whether if I like this or not? 15. Very messy but for hybrid trap it's great. 14. "Jbfjfbtejvnjfrnvjefnvjdfbkvfdnvjdfnvjdffnnj" 13. THIS IS SUCH A BANGER WOAHHHH!!! 12. 2nd worst of the album, it's okay. 11. Thus makes me wanna unalive myself. 10. If it wasn't screechy, this would be such a banger. 9. Somehow this actually slaps! 8. This is catchy, but the lyrics? No way! 7. Overall you have a decent list, and imo it's better than other lists I have seen. But I'm surprised there was only 1 GG Magree song on this list. Usually I see 3 or even all of them.

23. I found it quite interesting upon release, but I don't listen to it much nowadays. 22. Probably my favorite song from that album, but seeing it here is understandable. 21. This one just clicked with me, also it has pretty large number of listens on Spotify. 20. Understandable. 19. Understandable, and I just love your comment regarding the song. 18. Understandable. 17. I probably would not mind this song if I did not know about Teminite's album and what he managed to create with the pirate theme. I agree that this take was quite underwhelming. 16. Understandable. 15. Yup, I think I would put it even higher. 14. I had some issues with it at first (too much happening during the drops combined with not the cleanest of mixes), but I don't mind it now. Understandable, though. 13. This one's quite fun. 12. Understandable, my least favorite from the GW album. 11. This one slaps, I considered voting for it for my Bo2023 list. 10. Definitely agree with this one, thankfully his other single was way better. 9. Understandable, but I would not put it below #10. 8. Yeah, this one would be such a bop if not for the lyrics. 7. Funnily enough, I actually really enjoy it, but I would not mind seeing any other Carola song on this list. It's got a nice groove. 6. Understandable. 5. Understandable, 2nd least favorite from the GW album. 4. This one is odd, but it somehow works for me. Understandable, though. 3. Yup, I'm surprised this is not #1. 2. Oh, I guess there were some better picks. 1. In the context of an album this one did not strike me as all that bad, but understandable.

As a night owl on the west coast, it's hard for me to make the premieres, but I made the premiere for both Do Not Resist and Vitamin R. I actually kinda liked Do Not Resist for some reason, more so for the gritty reese basses than the screechy leads. I had actually forgotten about some of these songs, particularly New Worlds.

There's some songs that shouldn't be on here (Pirate King and Love Me) but surprisingly my least favorite this year was Sugar. Also Turn Me On not being on here has me questioning shit. (Then again i did thought some songs on the TOB Remix package was gonna be on there just for me to realize u didn't really cared for it)

23. An actually pretty good track and has a unique sound to it 22. In general, Together as One isn’t ILLENIUM levels of amazing, but I enjoyed it, as wel as this song 21. While not bad, I don’t think it’ss great either. Nice to see Dexter return on MC, though. 20. no 19. A pretty great track 18. Weird cover art aside, it was one of the better house tracks this year 17. It’s no Space Boy, but it was decent 16. It’s definitely better than her other three tracks, but her song with Seven Lion & Jason Ross (Darkness) foreshadows this pretty hard. Nice to see LEVEL UP, though 15. Hey, I think this is pretty good actually 14. Weird how it isn’t screamo rap labeled, but I think it’s a “so bad it’s good” song 13. I liked this song, though I think Die By My Hand would’ve been a better upload 12. Haven’t heard a lot of this LP since release, but I thought this was good 11. Actually boring ngl. How is it melodic bass btw? 10. Though screechy, I thought it was a pretty good debut 9. But this one is not as great 8. SUGAAAAA- wait wrong sugar. This one is trash but kinda okay 7. In general, Carola was pretty safe with her songs this year 6. While No Rules better, this one was a good one 5. It was good, even if WARFARE is slightly better 4. I found it boring at first, but I could get used to it. 20. Believe it or not, I thought this would be worthy for Best of 2023. It was good, didn't have any vibes like you said... okay, now that you mention that, I see you point after listening to Tristam's "My Friend" so many times this summer. 16. Banger. Fight me. 15. The way the vocalist delivers the "I fall... INSIDE" line in The Dark kinda makes me laugh nowadays, but maybe it's just me 😂 Also, yeah, not a huge fan of overly-heavy songs either, some of the songs I disagree like Pirate King (Maybe it kinda reminds me of Braken a little with his "To the Stars" track, also ngl I like eerie's vocals as well)

Quite a few Instinct tracks were really disappointing. Most of them were light house and they all blended in. The only that were super memorable this year was Justify by No Mana and White Lie by Haywire. Plus, I downloaded every single Monstercat release this year except for silk onto my playlist and I am probably not going to go back to certain songs

I think it's safe to say Together As One is without question my least favorite LP on the label now, it's going to be hard to make something worse than that. As for the list, I agreed with all of them except Pirate King. This year was...not the best for the label. Hopefully 2024 will be better.

Honestly I loved OddKidOut's two releases that you have here. Especially Headcase which I had no expectations for and it surprising worked so well for me that I voted it in BO2023. Also Sylky and The Dark go hard
