SRP no longer contains any abrasives. It should really be called a glaze rather than a Polish. It simply contains fillers to fill in minor defects. A proper finishing polish such as M205 or s40 would be a great addition to the arsenal.
Is it so? My exprience has been that It have worked quite well as an one step polish on a ”good condition” car.. have they removed the abrasives recently?
Great effort. Id use the S3 on a faster speed, moving the machine about one inch per second, to give you a better cut. Id use the SRP with a softer pad much slower machine speed but moving the machine more quickly. SRP wont cut, but it will fill.
There was still a lot of hazing/micro marring on the right side. Looks like it’s soft paint and the microfibres you were using were bad quality and scratched it up. Also the wool pad looked like it was barley rotating and machine was vibrating lots?
Bailey Everard yes, the microfibers was getting full of wax and I did have any new ones at that point. I always tend to have too few CLEAN mf towels even if I have plenty of them 😞 its not a rotating machine, its an oscillating, could be it looks like its not ”rotating” all the time..
@@hakman239 yes, and a 3 step polish would be optimal, but if you want to save time these 2 worked quite well..s3 was incredible good to remove scratches..
