He’s been a member of the group SF9 for 7 years. Last September Rowoon decided to focus on his acting career rather than being part of SF9. Part of his decision was due to his back pain. He had quit touring with the team because of the grueling training, practices, and performances.

@@ShortsMargo Rowoon’s role in MATCHMAKERS is also good. I think he has a wonderful future in drama. His next drama is called “Murky Waters”. I’m not sure he’s started preparing for that part yet. Rumor stated that his co-star will be the ML from Semantic Error 🤷🏻♀️

@@sofiaisme3866Rowoon decided to become a non active member of SF9. Due to back injuries and the grueling training and never ending practices, it only made sense for him to focus on his acting career. I’ll definitely miss him as an SF9 member, but love Rowoon’s dramas.
@@sofiaisme3866 Technically he’s still a member, but I would be completely shocked if we ever see him actually performing with SF9. Many of the Fantasy member are still quite upset over Rowoon’s decision to depart from the team. He decided to remain with the talent agency, but is not contracted as a member. All his projects are assigned to him separately. Zuho has decided to explore another talent agency regarding acting.
Rowoon will be incredibly successful in his acting, modeling, and overall entertaining abilities, however, I will still miss him as an active member of SF9
