I would hate it lol. As a performer and someone going to watch her. Unless it was something she asked them to do. I dont wanna hear a bunch of people scream songs in my ear when going to see someone perform. And as a performer it takes away from your performance.
@@eYeCeD7 yeah, i totally get your point ! i just thought about the support she is receiving, but as a spectator that's a whole different experience. i saw billie eilish once and i couldn't hear a thing, the mic was too low and the crowd was way more louder than her :s
Back in the 60s 70s 80s, that would be considered rude. You would never do that to Joni Mitchell or Linda Ronstadt. You wanted to soak in their voice and listen to the words. I don't know. It seems like everyone has to be in the spot light now
That drummer is amazing, I noticed her on Olivia's NPR recent tiny desk concert appearance. They really seem to have a cool vibe and the drummer is able to translate that enthusiasm so well.
if you're singing along you don't even notice. you have to live in the moment. it's beautiful hearing people bond over music. meh, different perspectives
@@urkittenmeeyeah nothing compares to the rush u get when so many people are singing along with you in a room. Ah I love that lol. That's pretty much what happens at a fun concert. I hate when the crowd is stiff and boring. Like stay home ha.
i love her reaction when the crowd sang “fame-fucker” and she sang the clean version “dream-crusher” lmfao edit: the fact that after that she only sang “fame-fucker” makes this so much funnier 💀💀💀
Absolutely ridiculously untrue. Every concert I’ve been to has had moments like this. Phil Collins, Iron Maiden, Metallica, just to name a few. They have all had songs where the audience does this. It’s super fun to be there and experience that. Go ahead and check out Queen’s Rock in Rio version of Love Of My Life. Freddie is so enthralled by the audience singing the song that he doesn’t even come in until the 2nd verse.
Change the title to ‘Stupid teenage girls oversing Olivia Rodrigo’. It must suck to go to a concert and you can’t hear the performer because of a bunch of ridiculous teenage girls acting a fool. Note - when the performer wants you to sing they will point their mic at the crowd. Note 2 - nobody came to hear you sing, they came to hear the performer.
