Wow, I'm appalled at the comments below. As cadets you/we are supposed to show respect for eachother and work as a team. Outright calling another unit terrible in the ways that are being done is no better toward the cadet image than is having bad drill.

The standing drill is fine but the marching is way off. But they must have improved considering the fact that they have been winning drill comp or making the top 5 for the last few years.

Loughlin do you mean Flag Party? In My corps our flag party consists of 2 flag barers and one rifle man taking calls.

Why does flag party slow march? In my Corp I am the flag party commander. We have 2 flags and 3 rifles in a formation of 5 person flag party and I carry the Canadian flag

Search: Royal Marines Cadets Malta - Drill 2012 - Winners This is drill to an actual cadet standard. I bet all of those army cadets could be like this if they showed determination and effort. they are all moving and twitching, No timings and nothing. This in the link is working as a team, fault finding and correction. Telling your buddy if hes doing something wrong. keeping in time, all requires team work. This is drill. This is The Royal Marine Cadets.

Hahaha, why are they playing Scotland The Brave for, in the background at 01:09? Oh, well, they tried. You can't ask any more of them, besides, they'll get better over time. Hopefully. Well done, anyway- remember, stiff upper lip, back straight, stand tall! Army cadet from the UK (I'm still canadian, though).

This was shocking no offense guys. What makes it worse is most of you have ranks on your arms! I have basic cadets in my Company that are better than some of you :/
