The woman in the picture is named Suphankanlaya, the older sister of King Naresuan who went to be the concubine of King Bayinnong and never had a Karen concubine in the Siamese court during the 5th king.
Dear Tha Bo Moo, You need to do more research about Thai and Lanna history. From the Karen "ta" or poem you mention, Mu Yeh Peh was scarified at "La Bo Klo" which located west of Ki Mae or Chiang Mai, the former capital city of Lanna Kingdom.. Therefore, King Rama 5 (Chulalongkorn) has nothing to do with Mu Yeh Peh because he never been to Chiang Mai. Mu Yeh Peh might be the consort (wife) of the King of Chiang Mai. Please note that during the reign of King Rama 5, Chiang Mai still have its own King, but the King of Chiang Mai had to pay tribute to the King of Bangkok. Chiang Mai during that time was still administered by the King of Chiang Mai . Chiang Mai had 36 kings altogether and the last king of Chiang Mai was 'Kaeo Nawarat" who passed away in 1939. You claim that La Bo Klo (west of Chiang Mai) where Mu Yeh Peh was scarified is "Lampoon", but Lamppon is a city and is located south of Chiang Mai. Best wishes, Chumpol Manivongsiri

@@seinlah1958 Thai history writes the names of all the concubines and the origins of every concubine. Do you think it was easy to become a concubine in the royal court? At that time, the Karen lived in the northern region of Thailand and were not considered urban people. They would not even marry commoners who weren't women of the central region.
