How did the 28' Twin-Vee compare to the 2400 Seaward? I was going to purchase a 2400 seaward last year and decided to purchase another boat and now I have to get another boat.
The 28 TV is a beast, but so is the 2400 Eastward. There's a $100,000 price point difference between the two. The ride of the Eastward is simply amazing and you can tell it's better built.

.... Yes Sir, I can. The EASTWARD vs the TV 280 GFX was an easy decision when it came to price...ride was almost identical. The TV was $100,000 more at the time. The TV has more nice to have amenities.... More to maintain. I wanted a more commercial rig that I can pressure wash after a successful day offshore. The EASTWARD is built like a tank! The round tunnel does not sneeze as bad as the flat tunnel of the TV. 👍

I’d feel better about the Twin Vee product if the owner Joe actually stood behind his boats. First hand experience as well as via half a dozen clients major structural issues and Joe voids their warranty claiming abuse. For that reason alone if you want to buy a budget cat you buy the eastward. Unfortunately your resale value won’t be much down the road because settling for an Eastward word is like settling for a Chevy Impala versus buying a Mercedes Benz.
Well I appreciate your comment and respect your opinion.. the Eastward catamaran is simply in a league of its own when it comes to having a boat that is simple, easy to maintain, and in all actuality will probably be worth what I paid for it in another couple years. Boat prices have only doubled since I placed my order on this boat/built it. This exact model would require an additional $80,000 over what I paid for it to have it built today. If I sell this boat I'd step into a 3000 horizon. I have run all of the top tier catamarans and they are not worth the money to me because I'm not a sandbar hopping fisherman. We fished the boat, spray foam it, pressure wash it and put it up until the next time.
