I am so happy they help you! It's a very difficult disorder to overcome, but I know you got this!! Recovery is so very very hard. I love his channels for helping !!! ❤❤❤❤
Oh, wow! So sorry to hear you've had to struggle with that, but so glad something like this helps you! I've had issues keeping my appetite going, and Mike's videos always help me too. High five for finding ways to keep us going! 🙋
I have crohn's disease and gallbladder issues, & I do the same with food videos. Eating can be anxiety inducing, but watching other people eat new things, while I eat. Somehow calms me enough to make myself eat. Hang in there on your end 💖
Finally!!!! Finally Mikey you made it here. I've been watching your channel for years, hoping you'd show up. Glad you came and enjoyed what we had to offer. Make sure you come back!!
Elated to have you here trying our food...do come again very soon...hopefully you will get to try other Bahamian foods like crab n rice peas soup crab soup
You are enjoying yourself and not worried about the price and you are not a picky eater just dive in and enjoy your food just like me. You just got a new subscriber bro
Haha! At the beginning of this video, I kept thinking to myself, "is he saying that right? Conch, with a hard "ch", like in children?" But then, once it got into the video, proper, he started saying it like "conk". Which is how I always heard it said, lol! 😄
Also, a big LOL to "crack" conch. I was thinking the name was because it was because it was so delicious that it was as addictive as, not because they had to crack the shell!!! HAHAHA!!!!!
I remember having Conch Fritters in Jacksonville, Florida but they were Puerto Rican style, I highly recommend them to ANY seafood lovers, or even if you like Fish and Chips- CONCH is delicious!!!
I love a good oxtail stew. In Filipino cuisine, it's called kare kare and it's a peanut sauce based oxtail stew with lots of veggies and served with rice. 😋
Dang Mike I was just there 2 months before you and you missed junkanoo beach But you did get to the fish fry so good job, I stayed for a week awesome stuff if you have the time to really explore
Umm not proboscis, it's actually the other end of the animal....Have you tried soup #5? you have had the seafood version 😂 glad you enjoyed it even without knowing what it is!
I stopped eating conch as it is being over fished especially in the Bahamas and will soon be endangered. We need to let it start to thrive again so it can be enjoyed for generations to come
Mike is consistent in mispronouncing lots of words in his content. A shame he doesn’t research how to say foods correctly, since he has such a large platform.
@@RSkiesI’m ngl i think it’s purposeful. Planteen is crazy since it’s not even spelled remotely close to that. It’s either plan-tin or plan-tane (depends on geography)
@@macintoshhjball4686i agree, and ngl think its disrespectful to the cultures where those foods come from, as well as his audience if he's doing it on purpose.
@@macintoshhjball4686the lack in effort is glaringly apparent too. Mike always promises to include contact information to restaurants he visits, or for the guides he hires, and he never does. These independent businesses could get such a boost from Mike doing that, but he leaves them high and dry.
