Hi! So, actually you are not supposed to put an oil with silicones (and both the ogx and the garnier ones contain them) before washing your hair because it's not going to do anything. It's better to put some kind of pure oil or an oil mix like almond or avocado oil and after washing your hair put the oil with the silicones to protect your hair from physical damage (like rubbing against your clothes). Sorry if that's unsolicited advice, just wanted to share what I learned as a fellow hair enthusiast.
seems like you’re doing a great job with the tretinoin! some tips: -only use once at night, or every other night -be EXTRA sure to apply and reapply spf throughout the day; tretinoin makes your skin more susceptible to sun damage -if you find the tretinoin is too strong, try applying it after moisturizer rather than before -don’t apply occlusive/thick moisturizer after tretinoin; it’ll be too much for your skin -don’t mix tretinoin with any other actives basically, just apply tretinoin at night as the last step of your routine, keep your night routine super simple (just moisturizer and then tret, or maybe a toner as well if the ingredients work well with the tret), and be extra careful with UV exposure
thank you!! one question- I read that tretinoin has been studied when used before moisturizer. there are people who suggest to use it after moisturizer, and not saying it doesn't work that way, but just that the research on tretinoin has been done when tret is used before moisturizer. do you know if there is any validity to this? I struggled with figuring out when to implement it into my routine
Tretinoin is effective both ways. Typically it is suggested to use it after moisturizer to reduce irritation especially for those who are beginners to using tret. @@AudreyVictoria
For tretinoin try the sandwich method of putting a moisturizer first letting it dry then tretinoin then more moisturizer!! Also I heard u shouldn’t use vitamin c while using tretinoin and if u do try alternate days
omg i have the same problem where when my hair grows it’s thicker at the top and more thin, frizzy & damaged at the bottom and have to end up cutting it off 😭 also a good clarifying shampoo is noughty detox dynamo, it’s 97% natural too. idk if they sell it in the US though
Tretinoin shouldn't be used by lactating mothers. Please don't use it if you are lactating. Edited- I request everyone to comment this again and again so that she recognise this I want her child to be alright.
Audrey, youre gorgeous. Thanks for all the tips and advice. Its helped me tremendously ❤ i watch your videos if im concerned about my hair issues and i calm right down lol
NOTHING against Audrey, I love her and her videos. Lol but one thing I will NEVER understand is that girls take a full shower, and then come out and wash their face. Do people just not wash their face in the shower?! It's so strange to me because when I shower I always wash my face in the shower. I don't take a full shower and then come out to wash my face in the sink. WHAT!? Lmao I'll never understand. And I can't be the only one hahahaha.
I ALWAYS wash my face in the shower unless I’m filming a video like this where I’m showing products / testing new products. Also, because I am filming in this video, I can’t finish my skin care immediately after getting out of the shower because I have to set up the cameras , talk in my video, etc. I don’t want to have an un-moisturized face for too long, which is why I washed my face outside of the shower. Hopefully this makes sense lol
Can u show th COSRX snail musin a bit closely?? I want to see the push part of the bottle as some people say that if its leveled (equal) then the product is fake , and if the push part is slightly tilted then its the real product . So can u show the upper part (push part ) of the bottle closely to that i can compare it with my Cosrx snail musin to see if its the same as u ? 😊
Hi Audrey!! I love watching your videos and they're very helpful:) I just had a question, Do you buy the products from Amazon?? If yes then I wanted to ask that do Amazon sell real products of brands?? Like many apps sell products of famous brands , but they are fake , so are u sure that Amazon sells real brands products??
i think that loreal sulfate free clarifying shampoo is bull crap because to clarify means to remove a bunch of things from the hair including non-water soluble silicone...the only thing that can get rid of non-water soluble silicones is sulfates...so you see why a sulfate free clarifying shampoo contradicts itself and doesn't work
