India too. Karen mommas will just shoplift by filling up whole baskets she brought from home. A lot of us Indians are already known for stealing toiletries, bedsheets and stuff from trains and hotels.
This is not ramen. It's Korean instant noodles aka RAMYUN. Ramen is a Japanese cuisine with fresh noodles, fresh ingredients and fresh broth. Instant noodles is flash-fry noodle block with artificial flavourings.
it's just an unnecessarily fancier korean convenient store . you can literally cook ramen at a convenient and buy any toppings you like and eat at the table there.
yea I think it’s more about paying for convenience, and also tons of different types of ramen to try that aren’t always available at other covenience stores :-)
Basically both ramen and ramyun has the same chinese characters. Korean and Japanse language both use Chinese characters and pronounce differently. So the meaning is exactly the same meaning curly noodle.
They're technically the same thing, except one is a proper dish and the other is instant noodles (which also came from Japan). Except, personally I think Korean instant noodles are better lol. Nothing beats Japan Ramen though, for sure.
@@DisingenuousComment I've never been brave enough to say it out loud, but I agree. Japanese ramen tends to lack complexity and be overly salty to boot. I've tried it multiple times, but never had any Japanese instant ramen I was satisfied with straight out of the packet
nsd8057 Only Japanese use Chinese characters. Koreans use hanguel which was a new writing/reading system that a king made so the poor and rich alike can read and write.
😋😋😋😋yum... instant food ban at home...so noodles are luxurious meal for me now....I'm tired with healthy food...I want these kinds of foods once in a while.
I know it's typically a western thing to call Ramyun Ramen...but seriously please call it ramyeon Ramen in many ways is very different and it's categorized differently than Ramyeon they don't taste the same to be also clear -_-
