Such a beautiful place Greenhills, full of mystery and chunks to find. I have had many blanks down there but also my pb at 35lb I do think your peg choice was odd in winter.

Shame you blanked there but i would never fish for specimen Carp when its that cold...i think in those conditions its best to just fish for silvers on the pole or waggler etc. Even more so with it being sunny.
