It's as extra as it gets in Dubai, isn't it? All that food looked insanely good, especially that mixed grill. Maybe someday when I have a ton of money I'll check out Dubai and see what it's like...?
The UAE isn't actually that much. I went in 2019 to a very comfortable 5 star hotel in Ajman called the Ajman Saray which is a lot cheaper (120gbp per night at the moment) and had a free one hour bus to Dubai mall. Of course if you want to stay in Dubai itself it'll be a lot more expensive.
@@Emmbedd Go somewhere else with some actual culture that isn't a backwards dictatorship that runs on slave labor, I hope Mikey's at least getting paid well by the tourism board (I bet he is, can't knock the hustle)
St. Louis native here! You definitely need to try STL Soup Dumpling Forks and Stix (specifically the Khao Soi) Lulu's Dim Sum Corner 17 Milk Tea, and literally all the food there is amazing Wei Hong Bakery (ham and onion buns are killer) Filipino Bread Company
@@presleywalker9212 I haven't tried it! I've been a Seoul Garden loyal customer but I hear good things about Wu Don. The Korean market next door has really good spicy pork bulgogi!
@@Jesterisim Yup. It’s not just a chicken nugget restaurant though, it’s a fried chicken restaurant like KFC or Popeyes and they serve sandwiches and other stuff too, but their fried chicken and nuggets are their most popular dishes.
Dubai’s quite an expensive place to be at especially if you’re not a local. For the locals, it’s usually a normal price. But it’s smarter to go outside the main city Centre for food as it is waaaaay more affordable.
Oh yeah putting French fries in a sandwich is next level gastronomic wizardry, literally no one has ever thought of putting 🍟 in a Sandwich… he’s a genius, someone should tell Mensa
It's kind of a Chinese attitude too. In China, going out for a meal with friends usually means ordering several dishes to mix and match, and knowing which ones go together is part of the traditional food culture.
Ive always been such a fan over the years of your food videos and have tried so many of the places you’ve recommended when I go on vacation!! Such an inspiration and always a treat to watch! Keep up the amazing content Mike! 🔥❤️🙌🏼
The prices at that Huqqa restaurant were a bit eyewatering! The portion of nutella was about $6.50, the caviar truffle baked potato about $54, I dread to imagine the price of the mixed grill! 😅🤣
I'm just sitting here crying in my 60 cent insta-noodles...Mr.Chen you never disappoint, if you need a assistant on your journeys feel free to hit me up lol. Great content, keep it up
You should come to the caribbean and do a food tour on traditional caribbean cuisine......it would be awesome to see you try an review our food...P.S. i love youre videos mike chen never stop doing what you do...you have made my day for the past 5 years. Lot of love from TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO.
I second this just as I wish to see it and dream about all the food I don't get to eat anymore. Because I live in a small town. In the UK. That lacks variety. Sigh lol but yes I second this!!
I have been to the Dubai mall many times! You are right you will not get tired of it. A good mix of cheap to expensive variety of everything. I love the Mall of Emirates too for it’s European Architecture.
Al-baik's broasted chicken the best! I don't know much of the difference in taste because its originally from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia but iI bet its pretty good.
Dubai is actually very underrated for food. It is too damn good there, especially since you have the best Middle Eastern and South Asian cooks living there to make money.
Can't afford the cheap brands at the local grocery. Definitely can't afford to eat out (occasionally get a Super Sonic Breakfast Burrito). Imagine how wonderful it must be to experience the cuisine from throughout the world.
Al baik broasted and nuggets is a big thing here in saudi arabia. It's cheap but delicious. The quality 👌 Their branches are always full packed and lines in mall always long.
''Time for the first heavy meal of the day'' After he's already eaten a bunch of huge chicken nuggets, stuffed them in bread, lots of fries, bunch of sauce and a whole ass chocolate dessert. That would've filled me up for at least half a day.
Omgawd YESSSSSSSSS please looks soooooooo delish Mikey, this looks absolutely Devine, and the water show is amazing, won’t ever get there but woooooooooow what an experience. I live vicariously through you.
Hey if you ever want suggestions to places on St.Louis I can give you a good list of places to try. I’m a transplant there so I can sift through the stuff the locals love because they grew up with it and the actual good food
A great series would be to go to popular tourist destinations like Cancun or Rome etc but only eat at mom and pop / non touristy areas! For us who still want to go to the popular vacation spots but dont want to eat more local.
Stay healthy so you can continue doing these types of videos in the future. 16 hour fasting then eat until your hearts content. Good luck! Food looks so delicious.
@9:45 so true, I made a day of just exploring the Mall, Burj Khalifa, and fountains, and I didn't see nearly enough of this place. My feet hurt just thinking about it.
Thanks for sharing this exceptional Dubai mall with us. As always, appreciate the promotion of world culture, international cuisines and travel with your viewers. It brings us all closer together.
Even if I could eat like Mike I would never order that much food at one time. You know most of it will be cold before he can get to it even with his wife to help. Better to order a smaller amount and then place a second order once you work through the first so everything is still fresh from the kitchen when you go to eat it.
CORRECTION: The Largest Mall in the World is Iran Mall in Tehran, it is the Largest Mall in the world by Total Land Area, the Mall of Dubai comes in 2nd place.
Mike - The single best chinese food I've ever had in the United States is in St. Louis at a place called Cate Zone! Go try the Hot Crisp Fish and Twice Cooked Pork!
Mike you cannot do this to me its 12am here in england and I've just looked at my phone and seen this little cheeky video now I've got to stay up and watch it!! 🤣😆 Thanking you dude, take care x
FFS I am tired of people saying McDonalds chicken nuggets is not real chicken. McDonalds is 100% real chicken. They just turn it into a paste to make their nugget shapes.
