Big ups to you for shining some light into our beautiful region of North East India! Most Mainland Indians don't even know that we exist or are really ignorant about our cultures. We NorthEasterners are a humble bunch. We look different, eat different and have vastly different cultures compared to the mainland. - from a Proud Ahom!!
Hi David. The last video of Shillong and this one were very well done. Nice and clean. I love how the people take pride in their village and keep it clean, something that was lacking in other India videos especially where street foods were concerned. I don't think I would have been brave enough to walk on those bamboo bridges. It was a very beautiful place though. And the food: just delicious looking. Can't believe they make the black/blood pudding there too and it looked so authentic. Used to eat a lot of it with hops bread in Trinidad. So you ate two of my favorite foods: Chinese and Indian, both of my heritage, plus German.🤗. This was so easy to watch, just straightforward enjoyment. Love your host, Paul. What a very nice guy and I loved the language lesson too. Good job. 🙏🥰❤️🇹🇹🇨🇦
Hi David.. Yes...the Landscape is breathtaking.... and the people really keep the place clean....interesting that Bangladesh is at the border...mulberry looking fruit ... the suspension bridge.....and of course the curries...rice ...fried fish..all delicious /tasty looking....viewing now and learning as I've not seen these videos. As always Thanks David ...be safe....Blessings and Peace.
For that rest of India will have to turn ethnically asian. They are clean because they're ☯️ and not brown. Cleanliness doesn't align with brown stein ethnicity.
@@hiicyuivbi some people want to take advantage the local people with their rates because they are poor villagers but when they failed to take advantage they started to call the local vendors as a scammer
David pls do visit again😢😢😢 there are so many places that you haven't explored yet stop exploring cities now explore villages in Meghalaya and its beauties ❤😅
David!! You would understand why I really appreciate Your Hard Work, yet enjoyable . My Dad Died when I were 7. My mom Had to find a Way for 5 Children . When I saw The Native woman in this Video Slicing The Blood Pudding, It brought so Much emotional Memories to me. I were about 11 - 12 years old, And My mom would Go To the Local Market and Purchase The Blood and The Intestines Cow,s Blood or Pig's Blood. She made The Pudding exactly like that. Then Both my Brother and I would walk about 3 Miles with A 1/2 Bucket of Pudding accompanied With Brown Paper, A Knife and Good Hot sauce to A place Where Cane Farmers would Spend their Paycheck,😂😂😂 The Rum Shop.. 😂we Sold 1 Slice for 5 Cents ( T T ) no Books Can Give me That Wisdom.) Then we Walked back and Gave the Money to my Mom.. I Am So Happy & Grateful for those Riches.❤❤❤ Awesome!! ❤
Meghalaya, my mesmerising neighboring State was named by Shiba Prasad Chatterjee (22 February 1903 - 27 February 1989) was a Professor of Geography at the University of Calcutta, India and not Late Indira Gandhi...

If Paul is your guide, brother you got a bad guide.. Momos are not Chinese food, momos originated in Nepal and Chinese chow and Indian chow have lot of difference, specially in cooking style. Garo and Khasi two Indigenous tribes of meghalaya, they eat beef, pork and other meats. They are actually Mongolian not Chinese.. Whole northeast origin is Mongolian origin. Most indo-chinese dishes contain taste enhancer (MSG), so u find it tasty. And, as you will find so many variety of chilly and king chilly in northeast India and tribes eat spicy food.. So it's common. Bamboo shoots, fever vines, sorrels, yum tubers and leafs, banana stem all such are real tribe food.
Bro, he might be a good person in real but if someone hires you as a guide, you should let him know weather your capable or not.. They are foreigner, they should not be misleaded..
We call anything greasy with soy sauce Chinese food in india. It has nothing to do with actual Chinese food or spices.😂.. sorry Paul’s a bit off with his commentary…
