Nice one guys! Liked and subbed ( 😉😉) ...Love Dubrovnik (we avoided paying the extra fee to walk along the walls as well...the view from the sports court up top is free and awesome). Definitely making us miss Croatia! 🤙🤙
I agree that it’s definitely something we’ll have to do next time we’re there. Megan says she has “no regrets” as she’s positive she would’ve melted though 🤣
You’re going to have the best time! You have to search a little bit past the tourist spots but if you’re willing to do that you can find some reasonable stuff! But really our routine was big meal before we got off and booked a semi early dinner on board… since all food is included. And then we’d get light bites at the stops!
Never used to pay to walk the walls🙄Shame you didn’t as it’s a great way to see the old town. Are you taking the cable car to the top of the hill above Dubrovnik? Fantastic view 😀
We probably would have paid if it wasn’t over 100 degrees F (37 C) 😂 We were just looking for shade. I bet the cable car view is perfect!!! Thanks for the tip!
@@AndrewandMegan Seeing as you’ve now been to Dubrovnik here’s a video of the siege that took place 1991-1992. Won’t go into the history of it as you can look it up for yourselves. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PHmim7pb5-I.html
Drones are allowed there, so didn't have any problems, however, there was a lot of interference when piloting around the walls. I have the DJI mini, and it kept losing signal after about 100 meters away. I've since tested my drone and it's works fine, so I'm not sure what was causing it. Dubrovnik has some incredible aerial views though. Around the walls and at the fortress were some of my favorite places. Another guy there said he got some really good drone shots from Lokrum island. Hope that answers your question and enjoy Dubrovnik!
@@AndrewandMegan Did you have any problems with registering the drone or with the permits? I'm planning take my Mini 3 to Croatia. Thank you very much for the information, I appreciate it.
Nope, no problem at all. The good news is that you can fly a drone about anywhere in Croatia and all you need to do is simply register it through the Civil Aviation Agency website @@BoggdanBarrientos
