We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time and we are heading north now to making a few stops before we head back west towards home, but we have a long way to go still.
It was a long drive to St Augustine from the Florida Keys, but it got us closer to our next destination and I wanted to see St Augustine since it's the oldest city in the U.S.
I wish we had more time to explore St Augustine, but we had 20 hours to see as much as we could.
.We actually started in a different order than I showed on the video which explains the change of dresses.
We headed out as soon as we leveled our trailer, unfortunately it wasn't soon enough to get to the Fountain of Youth before it closed, so we will have to add that to our next visit.
So here is our 20 hour schedule:
Day 1 Itinerary:
6:00 am Drove over 8 hours to Compass Rv Resort
4:30 pm Drove to a close Fountain of Youth
5:00 pm Magnolia Avenue Oak lined street
5:30 pm St George Street (A heavy rain just went through before we got there so a lot of places were closed)
7:30 pm Dinner at Prohibition Kitchen (Good food & Atmosphere)
8:00 pm Sunset at Bridge of Lions
8:40 pm Headed back to the RV at Compass RV Resort
Day 2 Itinerary:
7:00 am Memorial Presbyterian Church
7:30 am Trinity Parish, Plaza de la Constitución & Aviles Street
7:50 am O.C Whites
7:50 am Storybook House
8:00 am Bridge Street Love Tree
8:30 Breakfast @ Blue Hen (Good Breakfast)
9:30 Cordova Street Love Tree
10:00 am Head off to our next destination
Things we didn't do but wish we had, Fountain of Youth, Ponte Vedra Beach and all the other beaches, The Old Senator Tree a 600 year old Love Tree (I just didn't know about it somehow), Ghost Tour.
We saw so much in a short amount of time, I can't wait to come back and enjoy it at a slower pace.
We had such a good time and experienced so many cool things that The Keys have to offer, it was an amazing week.
