I think it's great. I'm guessing you're not hassling with swim suits when not filming an episode. Use less water too when you can get straight to things.
Natural beauty overload! Especially Sarah freshly awaken in the morning. Baling twine and chewing gum, duct tape, zip ties, and... tell ya what Eric, I patched a small fissure in a Clarke tank on my XR650L with JB weld years ago. At the front mount on one side, and I glued a metal washer to it to spread out the force of any impact. Thought I'd have to revisit it and plastic weld it but it's still good so I haven't messed with it. Still, on that water fitting, I'd probably remake the fitting next time at home base. Anyway, it's a good idea to cut power to the water pump when not using the water.
Wild camping sounds enjoyable! We definitely need to head over there next year! Love the mountains! We love IOverlander! Wow that road is very bumpy 😮campsite looks great! Outdoor shower is sweet. You won’t be doing that at Walmart 😆
Gord is glowing - living his best life. Great video guys. Love that camping setup and yes there's so many spots like that in B.C.... iOverlander is super helpful but it does get tricky when you end up out of reception but you haven't planned your next camping spot yet 🤦🏻♂Do you guys have a work-around for that?
We downloaded all of BC on Google Maps… have you tried that? Then it seems like if we have iOverlander open when we leave service, we can still look coordinates up on Google Maps.
Liked the video a lot. I could not believe that Canada has the low population that it has. You have plenty of camping sites for those who like to camp in the wild. However, I loved seeing Vancouver, Canada. Unlike my brethren from the U.S. who live close to Vancouver and who have probably visited it, I live very close to he Gulf of Mexico (Texas). Hence, I know very little of Vancouver or Canada, for that matter, but I know from what I saw in the last video that I would definitely dig Vancouver. Vancouver is my kind of town!
So speaking of the shower… What brand it it? I would like to let some friends know about it for their camping setup. They won’t be throwing down the amazing hair flip (he’s bald and she has really short hair) but I think the would like the same setup.
We actually designed it (and bought all the individual pieces) ourselves! I've linked the three pieces on our Amazon store if you'd like to have a look: www.amazon.com/shop/thebomsaway. Then we just went to Home Depot and had them fit us two little pieces to connect it to our tap. And then we glued on magnets and thin felt (so as not to scratch the van paint) to the back of the shower head holder. Hope that helps! :)
I like how your van is older than you guys! Lol. I cruised that area, Colorado, Fla etc, in 1979 snd 1980 in a homemade Chev van w my parents. Been a van camping wannabe ever since.
Ohhhh traveling with you through BC looks like tons of fun! 🤩 Your van 🚐 is just so cute 😍 Yay van… you made it! Oh yes, first this is for sure swimming 🏊♀️ ☑️ 😊 “living in a van down by the river” 😂🤣😂 same here… hangry time when I need fed! Happy hour is adorable! Looks like one of our “hot dates”. Way to have a sunny view.. yay it’s not pee water 🙌
