I genuinely appreciate this realistic video. I went through many phases of feeding… under supply, oversupply, lactose overload, etc and this is the most relatable video since discovering that being an “enougher” makes the most sense for me as a part-timer. I also don’t have to pump in the middle of the night because of it. When I had an oversupply I couldn’t feed him without choking the baby.

@@MadisonLoethen I’m trying. I went from having an oversupply to now struggling with supply because I tried bottle feeding. I thought bottlefeeding my baby during the day and breastfeeding at night would be a good way to get his poop back to normal. But now I’m regretting after only 3 days he doesn’t have the patience for the breast now. So I have to take him away from the all-day bottle and only give him a bottle when I go back to work. Man I can’t tell you how many times I’ve cried in 2 1/2 months

@@MadisonLoethen I’m realizing that bottle feeding only when I need to is the best approach. Either that or exclusively pumping, but the problem with exclusively pumping is that I can’t afford a deep freezer and I don’t have help during the day to pump AND deal with my 4 year old and newborn. I’m also noticing my prolactin depleting because I’m missing that connection with my baby

Aw hang in there! I just pumped and did bottles when away from the baby and nursed when we were together but do whatever works for you and your family!

@salma_Nella22 how did you manage the lactose overload? My 5 week old son is struggling with forceful letdown, oversupply and lactose overload and has been having such trouble with his tummy and poops for going on 2 weeks now. I give him gripe water and gas drops, but he's still having such a hard time! Any suggestions? I mainly breastfeed, but I pump to have a stash for when I go back to work in a few weeks, and so Daddy can help with feeds occasionally. Thanks in advance, if you see this! ❤

I'm doing the exact same pumping routine right now! Luckily my son hasn't had too bad of a regression yet (4 mos) but I'm waiting anxiously for the day he does it lol...hope your sweet girl is getting past it now!
